All around comedian. He could do everything on the Carol Burnett show. And who could forget his role in "Blazing Saddles?"
R.I.P. Harvey!

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought, cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
My mind is a-glow with whirling transient nodes of thought, careening through a cosmic vapor of invention.
RIP.

Outstanding comedian. He wisecracked in the movie that he should have gotten an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, but he really should have, IMHO. RIP.

What a crew that was on the Carol Burnett show. Comedians just aren’t the same anymore. Harvey, you’ll be missed. RIP!

I saw him with Tim Conway just a couple of years ago in Reno. It was a pretty big room (2500?) Nice show... It was on a whim... I glad we went.

Thanks for the laughs.
One of the greatest comedy sketches ever — Harvey in the Dentist’s chair.
[Most of the videos of it are of a later skit. The original doesn’t seem to be available, and it was funnier.]
Watch Korman. Even he couldn’t keep a straight face in this one.

Truly one of the greats! He's made me laugh more times than I could possibly count. Prayers go out for his loved ones. May God comfort them and give them strength in the difficult days ahead.
RIP, Hedley Lamar! You will be remembered for the laughter you brought so many of us!

Another REAL talent lost to Hollywood.
He had true talent.
His face was a lens through which you could “read his lines”...he didn't need to speak his lines.
A comedian whose talent is unmatched by those who survive him.
He could actually make one laugh without gross imagery or profanity.
I already miss him..may he rest in peace.
