It is my opinion that we need to pray for our leaders this election.
Many Conservative are disappointed with the selection of Senator John S. McCain. But in one sense, he is the true conservative in values -- he has fought for campaign finance reform -- getting big money out of politics.
This should allow the little guy (or gal) more voice in what this country is doing.
In some religions, it is part of the church service to pray for the leaders of a country (Ukrainian Catholic, for example).
We must pray for our leaders and pray that the Congress that is elected in 2008 will serve our Judeo-Christian country and help restore traditional values.
We need to win back the HOUSE and SENATE.
Additionally, Senator John S. McCain may choose a Vice Presidental candidate that many conservatives will warm up to.
I have heard it once said: YOU GET WHAT YOU PRAY FOR.
Obviously, if we are not praying (and working) for the conservatives values this country needs for this election, then God will not help us.
We must be like the Old Widow who continually went to the Judge. Eventually, the Judge gave in the Old Widom because she continually asked the Judge to see her point of view.
Thank you Grunther. It’s rather obvious this issue has been festering unaddressed inside me for the most part over the last eight years. From the responses, I know I’m not the only one. You take care.
The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 is a sore point for many conservatives. So is the subject of the Bull Moose Party where the idea of a third party was used to split the conservative vote.
How did the Robber Barons (Rothschilds, Rockefeller, Morgan, etc) get Congress to pass the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and get a president (Wilson) to sign it into law?
In a sense, McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform changes the rules.
Changing the rules can be beneficial if one adapts and heeds the warnings of the past.
There is no reason that members of Freerepublic could not take advantage of the change in rules to get Freeper PAC's formed, NRA PACs formed, Pro-Life PACs formed.
The more, the better.
I have worked for major corporations (GE, Motorola, and IBM), and I have seen the game of rule changing.
The swift of foot can win that game. We should be able to defeat the liberals if the rules change -- if we are swift of foot.
Crying and whining are for the liberals.
I consider the tracking of donations to help find people in Congress that can be targeted. And there is no reason that McCain-Feingold could not be amended -- to our advantage.
To those who say that tracking donations to Congress is bad and not conservative -- the fruits of not having something like that in place is something like the Federal Reserve Act Disaster in American History.

That was Mia Ts graphic. She did great graphic work. I miss her threads.
I think she was banned.
I would bet she drops by occasionally to read some of the threads. In such a case ... Hi Mia, we miss your work. Shucks, we miss you!
I only took down my previous profile page temporarily. It will be back up in a few days.
That’s such a great compilation. Very good on you...
Thanks.
Please remove me from this bump list, thank you.
You are now removed from Ragtime Cowgirl’s ping list you opted into.
Correction, that was the Stryker ping list you opted into.
Very interesting. Thanks. I wonder how many of these guys the MSM will be interviewing in October.
You’re welcome. Just my few bytes of help in the Information Revolution. ;^)

None if we don’t get them home.
Thanks for the ping!
