14 years ago today, on July 20, 1993, the body of Vincent Walker Foster, Jr. was found in a Virginia park, next to a civil war cannon, with an unidentified revolver lodged in the right hand. Vincent Foster died of a small-caliber gunshot wound to his head.
Vince Foster was not only deputy White House counsel but also the personal attorney to Bill and Hillary Clinton. On the night of Fosters death, top Clinton aides made a frantic effort to enter and remove documents from his West Wing office. In the days that followed, federal investigators were stymied in their investigation of Fosters office and strange death.
The following happened within weeks of his death. Vince Foster finally files the missing Whitewater tax returns. On July 19, FBI director William Sessions is fired. Clinton personally orders him by phone to turn in his FBI property and leave headquarters.
That evening, Clinton security aide Jerry Parks' wife Jane says she overhears a heated telephone conversation with Vince Foster in which her husband says, "You can't give Hillary those files, they've got my name all over them."
On July 20, Clinton names Louis Freeh as Sessions' successor.

“An oldie of mine”
Unrelated but notable—this thread was ongoing at the same time Lori Klausutis’ body was found in the office of Joe Scarborough on July 20, 2001.
FBI files.
Yes, a very unusual pattern consistent with Foster struggling to stop the gun barrel from entering his mouth, according to one story - if I remember correctly. A pattern very difficult to reproduce by suicide.
I knew Livingston from his days when he was working as an advance guy for Sen. Paul Simon during the 1988 Presidential race, this was back when I was a liberal. He and a number of other low life's came over from the Biden campaign after Joe had dropped out of the race due to the Kinnock plagiarism BS.
The fact that Craig ended up working in the Clinton WH, tells me everything I needed to know about the Clinton's ethics. Livingston in 1988 was probably the most overtly unethical person I'd ever met in politics. Couple that with his drug and alcohol issues and the guy was a complete train wreck.
I'll never forget my shock when I was thumbing through a Time or Newsweek magazine shortly after Clinton was elected and they had a two page color picture of "Clinton at work" or some such nonsense, and who's there in the background of the photo but Livingston and another lowlife that I'd met back in 1987-88 in Iowa.
The fact that Livingston was IDing the body and working in the Clinton White House stinks to high heaven with me.
Move along - there’s nothing to see (or remember) here.
Everything is going to be O.K. and be sure to vote for her thighness.
When I snap my fingers, you will remember nothing.
“FBI files”
Personally I don’t believe you could blackmail men like Ken Starr or Ross Perot with disclosure of FBI files. If you threatened to kill their children and/or grandchildren, that would impress them. I’m just speculating of course; I really know nothing.
Yes, the article is about nine months old, but it can't be too informative since Ms. Miller can't present some of the basic and critical facts of the case correctly.
Right in the second sentence, she claims that Foster died from "a small caliber gunshot wound to the head." The truth is that he died from a small-caliber gunshot wound to the right side of his neck. That is the description of at least four eyewitnesses in the Park, and that was the wound seen by prosecutor Rodriguez on original photographs of the deceased, which were unfortunately touched up and never released to the public. An original photo of the wound was shown by Rodriguez to British reporter Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, who describes the neck wound in his book, "The Secret Life of Bill Clinton."
It is important to distinguish a neck wound from a head wound, because a gunshot to the neck rules out suicide to high degree of probability, in and of itself.
And that surely isn't the only error of fact in Ms. Miller's article.
There is very little to believe in the official reports.
FBI Report to the Director
Then the Autopsy Report
Thanks Backhoe. Ive bookemarked it to read it all.
True, but she was only one of an entire cast of characters that had a role in this drama. Surely, her "husband" had to give the advance OK, or else this massive cover-up would not have happened.
Another question is if he was killed, who actually was the trigger person.
He likely did not die in Fort Marcy Park. Even if he killed himself elsewhere, why was his body moved?

You are welcome labette.
.....she was only one of an entire cast of characters ....
You are correct in that statement. In my mind, Hillary managed the chicanery while Bill ran the enterprise. To keep the enterprise humming, she watched his back.
Great, I just found my next search....thank you.
And who picks up the phone to order a man like Ken Starr to cover up a murder?. Even after reading Tragedy and Hope, I find this implied fact mind-boggling. It would seem that a credible threat of deadly force would have been needed, so who are the hired guns of the super-establishment? Did the same people get Ross Perot to drop out of the Presidential race in 1992? My tin foil hat is too small.
In eight years Bill Clinton made $50 million giving speeches. The rich gangsters have donated $100 million to his library. What could he possibly say that would be worth that much? Nothing. Who cares about his library? The only interesting stuff about him is not written down; it was whispered into cronies' ears. The money flowing his way is simply a pure demonstration by the financial masters to the politicians now in power to do their bidding or else they won't get rewarded after office. Ever see a political loser get paid off? Maybe your tinfoil hat making you see high school civics 101 played out in real life is covering your whole head
If you have a link to a document with a statement that there was residue found on both hands i would like to see it.
Thanks if you find it.

First report says no exit wound, and the second report finds an exit wound in the back of the head.
First document says gun powder found on only one hand, contradicting what I thought I read somewhere.
