MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Russian Ambassador to NATO Dmitry Rogozin does not rule out the fact that Russia could use force to protect its interests.

"Today, if the EU works out a single position or if NATO steps beyond its mandate in Kosovo, these organizations will be in conflict with the UN, and then I think we will also begin operating under the assumption that in order to be respected one needs to use force," Rogozin said in a televised linkup with Brussels. av md

The State Department should take a memo: tables can turn in a decades time.

I have three basic wishes for America, i.e. three things I’d like to see happen shortly prior to the coming elections: the Christian majority pull ALL of its children out of the govt. schools in a single day; an asteroid hit Foggy Bottom, and Russian and Serbian tanks roll into Kosovo.

Wait a minute. I thought all had to go through the almighty U.N. Do you mean Russia will act unilaterally? Does that just apply to the US?

I think it means that the Russians intend to uphold the UN resolutions that we have broken by recognizing a nothing more than a break-away province.

I don’t like Putin but I never support Muslim irredentism. So I’m with the Serbs and Russia on this one

Never bet on Islam! Never bet on a false prophet!

I would have no problem if Russia — or anyone else, for that matter — slapped down Kosovo. We do not need a moslem nation on Europe’s soft underbelly, and one that is rabidly anti-US even though we helped to create it (thanks to that foreign policy incompetent Bill Clinton).

The Russians have always had a kinship with Slavic Europe and Yugoslavia. Remember also, that hillary openly supported albanian muslims crossing the border into kosovos. I’m with Russia on this one. The globalists slick and jorge were/are selling out American interests.

We are led by people who are not honest and the fruits of

Our society is looking more and more ignorant, immoral, lazy and weak.
Rome lasted a lot longer.
Let us Hope the man above has plans that will Aid a return to the values that made this country great.
But I fear with the leaders running for Office these days
that the destruction of America is too far gone.

Isn't it ironic that the UN, which passes meaningless mandates it has not intention of enforcing merely to be obstructionist is having those meaningless documents being used by clever politicians as a pretext for war? I mean, really, we didnt go into Iraq because of UN violations but that was Bush's approach to shut them up. Now Russia is doing the same thing. That den of snakes should be shut down; if it is used as justification for war (even if only as political spin) it officially has no purpose.

Kosovo = Clinton’s Sudetenland.

NATO really fouled up on this - if Putin invades Kosovo and re-annexes it to Serbia then we should count our blessings.

Russia to protect international law?

Like the same way they “protected” it when they invaded, without cause, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Afghanistan ..... etc ....

Oops! Yeah, I meant one of those metaphorical invasions, honest. I might look at a map of the world next time I plan foreign policy :0(

The real danger I guess is that we’ve alienated Serbia AND we’ve made irredentism trendy.
