This should be interesting on FR, as many FReepers and Queen Ann Coulter herself will probably agree with CBS's MS. Cordes's spin.

Just what we don’t need -— 4 years of Carter-ite type administration.

Huckabee seems clueless regarding international affairs.

Mike Huckabee: "Don't Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?"

I apologize...

Now THAT would have been an appropriate use of the word.

Dane, just because most of us don’t want Huck as President does not give you reason to attack us. I am not sure who I am going to vote for, but it will be the GOP who is running against Hillary. At the present time, I don’t think Huck is our man.

“our sincere concern and apologies for what has happened in Pakistan.”

What?

For what is he apologizing?

That’s just nutty!

Apologies? That’s the word he used? Why should we apologize, we didn’t kill her! This guy should be a Democrat....

Mike Huckabee strode out...and immediately addressed the Bhutto situation, expressing “our sincere concern and apologies for what has happened in Pakistan".

A President needs to be very careful about the language he uses, most especially in sensitive matters of foreign policy, for example in the case of unstable nuclear armed Islamic countries in crisis. Huckabee has flunked his Presidential audition.

  2. An inferior substitute: The sagging cot was a poor apology for a bed.

[Latin apologia, from Greek apologiā : apo-, apo- + logos, speech; see leg- in Indo-European roots.]

Huckabee followed at 9:41 a.m. Eastern: “This is devastating news for the people of Pakistan, and my prayers go out to them as we follow developments regarding this dire situation. … On this sad day, we are reminded that while our democracy has flaws, it stands as a shining beacon of hope for nations and people around the world who seek peace and opportunity through self-government.”

He avoided taking a strong policy position, saying he would offer sincere sympathies to the people of Pakistan, and monitor who’s behind it.

Oh, crap, he's running for "Commander in Grief". Will someone tell this simpleton that we already lived through 8 years of such a policy, and lower Manhattan has a giant hole to prove how effective THAT was.

Thread Self-Hijacking Attempt!

Attempt fails. Thread remains focused on Preacher Huck's unsuitability for Commander-in-Chief position.

Wow, talk about a shallow response. That's a terrible effort. Honestly, it sounds like the kind of response a fifth grader would offer up.

Huckabee never misses an opportunity to advertise his complete ignorance about National and Global security.
