Yeah, there is no way you could link Huckabee with questioning Christianity or Patriotic support of big Gov’t./s
http://www.arkansasnews.com/archive/2005/01/28/News/316347.html
“Something that’s not worth sharing is not worth celebrating,” Huckabee said. “This is the kind of country that opens its doors. This bill expresses an un-American attitude.”
Even if benefits to people who are in the U.S illegally could be stopped, “I don’t understand how a practicing Christian can turn his back on a child from this or any other state,” Huckabee said.

What will fascism be wrapped in if/when it comes?
It's already well on its way, wrapped in a blanket of "Diversity" and "Tolerance". We have a winner!

"This explains why Ron Paul is playing so well in Austin." I work in Austin, and this town is spammed full of Ron Paulution.
There are a few nuts who drive up and down HWY 183 (Research BLVD) all day long with Ron Paul crap completely covering the vehicles.

I missed the Fox & Friends segment this morning but watched him earlier on CNN...the anchorwoman was asking him if he would run as a third-party candidate—pretty much urging him to do so—if he doesn’t get the Republican nomination. Of course Paul denied he had any intention of doing that (since that would have hurt his chances of gaining Republican votes in the primaries). It’s not hard to figure out why CNN would like to see a third-party candidate drawing away votes from the Republican nominee.

I am not a Paul supporter, but... His quote makes sense. How else to bring oppression to this country but by using beloved symbols? It’s like the recurring theme that “we have to do” such and such “for the children.” Can anyone say that this country is more free today than when we were children? Laws, taxes, regulations - they multiply year after year, and all with supposdly good intentions. Part of Paul’s problem is he acts as if Facsism is right around the corner. I don’t see this as anti-Christian.

What will fascism be wrapped in if/when it comes? Viesing fascism as dictatorial control, most examples in todays world come wrapped in a crescent and AK47. Given the fact that Ron Paul does not recognize the existence of Islamism, I'm a bit surprised he's concerned about the risk of Christian totalitarianism.

A few weeks ago, "Ron Paul 2008" home made signs appeared on utility poles in my neighborhood about 20 feet up. They lasted about a day.

Brit Hume last night had an update on that Princeton University student--apparently the guy has admitted he made up the beating.
The weirdest part of the story (as Brit reported it earlier, before the update) is that they managed to find a conservative professor at Princeton. The AAUP is clearly failing in its vigilance.

“A disdain for Christians is not the way to win the hearts and minds of Conservative Christian Republicans.”
You don’t really believe he has any imagination that he will win, do you?
I think he just uses this presidential campaign to stroke his own ego, and to try and turn the national attitude away from social conservatives. He’s a libertarian at heart, and simply hates the idea that Christians hold to their faith when they vote.
