I am not a Paul supporter, but... His quote makes sense. How else to bring oppression to this country but by using beloved symbols? It’s like the recurring theme that “we have to do” such and such “for the children.” Can anyone say that this country is more free today than when we were children? Laws, taxes, regulations - they multiply year after year, and all with supposdly good intentions. Part of Paul’s problem is he acts as if Facsism is right around the corner. It might if he wasn't reacting to a video Christmas card as if it's a party platform with a Bible reference for every plank. I don't see the Huckabee Youth forming anytime soon.
