If ever there was an illustration of how an armed citizen can make a difference, it is the case of Jeanne Assam, the brave woman who took out the killer at the New Life Church in Colorado Springs. And yet . . .

On today's Morning Joe, Mika -- in newsreader mode -- dutifully reported the incident. But when Joe Scarborough sought to draw the obvious implication, Mika put her anti-gun foot down.

Mika Brzezinski is suffering from a strong delusion. Clearly, Jeanne Assam, not only stoped the killer, but she did so herocially, using her second amendment rights as they were intended.

God bless Jeanne for raising the alarm, for her faith in God, for her humility, and for her willingness and courage to allow God to guide her footsteps through great peril and great risk to herself in defense of her church and fellow parishners from a deranged killer.

Self-defense, as the founders intended and provided for through the 2nd amendment, which, in my way of thinking is nothing more than our unalienable right to self-defense, is the answer to these tragedies and countless others. Here, it proved its mettle in a dramtic way, and in the exact manner intended IMHO...a God-fearing, faithful, responsible American citizen couragously standing against murder and tyranny...because such killers are nothing but ruthless tyrants at heart, imposing their murderous will on innocents at the point of a gun or sword.

This incident, the mall in Utah, the school back in Kentucky several years ago all make plain that arming the people themselves who are there when these heinious acts go down, is the way to arrest and stop the bloodshed and save lives. This policy should be adopted at every mall, school, church, synagogue...and HOME in America IMHO, despite the delusions Mika suffers from.

Mika Brezenski has led a life repleat with privilege, as her view on this demonstrates conclusively.

This is a woman thats had security for her entire life, due to her father. She’s had doormen, high walls and gates, large estates to call home from birth through today.

There is nothing quite so vapid as a trust fund liberal, folks.

I took up exactly that subject Saturday in my weekly column, posted here on FR. Mika can have the truth right in their face, even stuffed up her nose, and not recognize it. She should be fired from her job as a "reporter" for her incompetence.

Surely there are bimbos who can take her place, look good, sound agreeable, and not say anything truly stupid. The network should give it a shot.

Anyone else notice the resentful expression on her face when she has to concede that the woman actually did save hundreds of lives and THEN she tries to say there’s a difference between her stopping him with a wound and stopping him dead. As though it didn’t count unless she killed him!
