God's commission to His church on earth was to go forth and baptizing the world into His family of believers; not being a good Samaritan. Being that good Samaritan is part of it, sure, but it's not to be the focus.

On the other hand, how are you going to bring troubled people to God and baptize them if you don't let them in the church because you don't want to hire security? Do you see where your position logically leads? Do only happy, well-balanced, safe people get to go to church? With that doctrine you start having to exclude people from a church service because they're alcoholics or former drug addicts or other types of sinners. That is surely not what Jesus, Who dined with sinners, wanted us to do.

I agree with you, older women are lovely with long hair, especially if they sweep the hair up into a chignon or French twist on formal occasions or when they want it out of the way. But we can’t all have beautiful long thick hair when we are in our seventies.

Hope she can find a police job as she has proven herself.
I was curious as to why she is no longer a police officer so a google search indicates she was fired from Minneapolis police department for lying about swearing at a bus driver during an incident. I hope we’ll find out later that the bus driver was a jerk and even if she swore at him, she no doubt did her job well.

But...she wasn’t politically correct so out she went. No doubt her replacement is 1/2 her quality but doesn’t swear.

Just looking at her, I notice two things.

(a) She is pretty
(b) She doesn’t seem to like to wear expensive clothes.

In other words, she would be the perfect wife.

Men and women are doing this everyday and night somewhere to give us our freedoms. For this we should be thankful.

What I don’t understand is what this incident has to do with somebody’s mom’s hairdo?!

Yeah, and that lousy police department fired her. I bet today she’ll receive lots of offers after taking the perp down. Maybe, he did kill himself...but she hit him a number of times even with his protective gear...knocked him off his feet warned him to stop...and proceeded to fire.

In my nearly 50 years of observation, I've come to the conclusion that the hair is like a fishing lure and it stays only long enough for them to lock in the mate the intend to stay with.

The moment ladies are comfortable with their choice and convinced that the game has been won, the hair is the first thing to go.

So, it's not necessarily got anything to do with hitting the age of 30 so much as having the fish in the net.

Think she lied about not swearing, and was contradicted by a videotape. The phrase was something issues of “truthfulness” were the basis for the firing.

If that was the case, it seems rather harsh unless it was a culmination of other issues. She was understandably reluctant to discuss her former law enforcement career.

Still, I don’t want to detract from what she did. She was magnificent.

she was in the right place at the right time and saved many lives.

is colorado a conceal and carry state? it seemed she was the only one in the church with a gun.

it sounds like NJ, a retired or ex-cop can get permission to carry if they have a reason.
