Sometimes (but increasingly) Bill Clinton doesn’t get his self-efacing, “aw-shucks” look just right and he comes off as nothing more than an aging goober.

Her hubby works for McCain’s campaign, so I always
remember that in her opinions.

Special Report with Brit Hume and the various business shows are really the only reason to watch Fox News anymore.

Where is Brit? He hasn't been around on either FNS or "Special Report" recently.

Especially if they could pin it on a right-wing fanatic. Say, a evangelical Christian guy with a couple of Confederate flags up on his wall who supports gun rights and “hates” abortionists.

Oh, and listens to Rush. Probably a Rush 24/7 subscriber.

I agree that the Saturday morning block of business news shows on the FNC are well done and entertaining.

(A Wayne Rogers - Jonathan Hoenig slapdown is as much fun to watch as Brit and Juan going at it.)

I thought the only proper fish wrap to use was the New York Times.

No, that's the old Sicilian message: "She sleeps with the fishes."

Unfortunately, as someone on the MTP panel mentioned, chaos in the early part of the race actually helps Rudy. Short of dominating the early primaries himself, which doesn't look likely, best thing that could happen for Rudy's campaign is a wide open field going into Feb. 5.

He has comfortable leads in a majority of states holding primaries that day, particularly when you weigh those states by their delegates. In that scenario, if he carries those states and holds on to his narrow lead in Texas, the nomination is as good as his.

His campaign in particular has been faltering somewhat, though, so a bad showing on MTP next week might cause some real movement.

Huckabee is telling me how very kind and compassionate he is.

Somehow, though, I just can’t stand him.

Steffie asks him if Mitt is a Christian. I wish we could get off of this probing everyone for their religious beliefs.

Assuming women will vote for a woman is like assuming women like their Mother-in-Laws.

They can spot a phony liar quicker than most men. They will despise Harpy more than men.

Anyone who knows about her disdain for those in the military or law enforcement uniform all her years in the WH KNOWS full well those words are lies, and calculated to appear as if she’s a compassionate .. a real normal Mommy-type person. Lies .. all lies.

From Friday's show:

CALLER: The retired military officer who used to carry the nuclear football for President Bush and Clinton who wrote a book a couple of years ago about how Hillary had such disdain for military people and wearing the uniform around her and like that.

RUSH: Except if they're gay.

CALLER: Yeah. Exactly. I wonder why none of the Republican candidates have brought up that and her disdain for the military people?

RUSH: Because it's primary time. Wait for the general. Depending on the gonads and the guts of our guys, this kind of stuff is going to be brought up. If they don't, we will. It's going to be brought up. Now, one more thing about this make-work project business. It's a great point. Hillary disdains the military. Bill Clinton loathes the military. "Don't ask, don't tell," was a way to screw up the military. Pure and simple.

Very True snugs. He never stayed in hospital staying more than what was necessary & then return to work immediately. Happened everytime and that 's history.

If only W & V.P were dems running the Presidency & Country like CEOs running successful business , the press all over the World would be showering praises by this time.

Huckabee is only doing well because Guiliani is faltering on sending out a clear message on social conservative issues. Guiliani is social conservative issues all together, and thats a mistake that Huckabee has capitalized on.

“Where is Brit? He hasn’t been around on either FNS or “Special Report” recently.”

I read an article some time ago that Brit was thinking of retiring soon. I think he’ll leave FNC after the 2008 election. I, for one, will be sad to see him go. He’s the main (only) reason I watch anymore.

I’ve been a FOX fan since 2000. My TV was tuned to FOX almost all day long. In the last two years, my viewership has declined to the point that I watch just a few hours per week.

Sad, but I can’t take all the tabloid trash.
