More endangered Mexican gray wolves have been targeted for removal from the Gila National Forest in southwestern New Mexico.

They are adorable. My children each sponsor one from here:
That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t kill a predator that was on my land though. Just like a predator would kill me or my family if we were on his turf. That is how territory is defined in the animal world.
Tastes like chicken?
Not a good idea. I hear they can be bribed. Here comes a few democrats now with kibble.

Ya know Illegals are catching those wolves and eating them don’t ya ?:o)
The pay back from the wolf pack removal program ?
Someone is shooting and killing cows ...from a car along west Marin County’s back roads, furious ranchers and agriculture leaders ...
This week’s shooting was the third cow shot in the past few weeks, according to ranchers, who say three deer carcasses also have been found in the area from gunshots.
Marin County Sheriff’s Lt. Scott Anderson said two of the shootings were reported. He said deputies are investigating.
“We’re very concerned about this,” said Mike Gale, president of the Marin County Farm Bureau.
“Obviously, there’s the financial loss. There’s also the unprovoked killing of anything - cow or a deer - anything,” Gale said.
“They left a calf in the middle of the field without its mom. It is so despicable,” Gale said.
EPA depopulation bid?
We had a suspicious pig farm depopulation here about 2 weeks ago.
Any word on what caliber was used?
What about baby moose and bear cubs the wolves also prey upon?
I'd like to know the interpretation of permanent removal. Does that mean from the face of the earth, or over to the next county where they can chow down on stock from a new ranch until another year passes and they are again ID-ed and targeted for permanent removal.
I don’t know but they’re having trouble up near Wall Lake, they’re killing everything, cats, dogs, horses and cows and people are afraid children are next. These are just the confirmed kills.
Wolves kill dogs everyday during winter in Alaska. Their numbers here in the interior have exploded. We need bounties back in existence or our moose will soon be gone. I see a wolf every couple weeks so far this winter. May be because caribou are moving thru. I did shoot at one in late sept from my boat on the Yukon but hard hitting anything with crosshairs swinging all over, (when you go to shoot from boat, nobody sits still you know).
Yesterday a buddy and I ran down the winter closed road outta where we live about 45 miles on snowmachines. Soon as we dropped off Summit, temps bottomed right out; from around zero to minus 25-30. We stopped at this once spot where caribou often cross and had to build a fire to warm up before ride back home; man did it seem cold, just not used to it yet this year I guess.
Anyway, right before dusk, my buddy looks 400 yards down the road and sez, look here come a single bou walkin down road toward us. It wasn’t a caribou but a dang wolf. I grabbed my rifle and leaned down on metal sled I pull with snowmachine. He must heard my gun hit the sled, cause that second he went sideways on road then jumped back into the brush off the road; another 2 seconds and I’d had him.
So, I don’t know if I was lucky to see him; or unlucky to not get off shot, ha ha. All I know for sure is I wish there were alot less wolves around where we live as they are really working the moose over bad.
Notwithstanding their death or incarceration requirement, I don't trust the USFWS. If they can't figure out some way to spring 'em, their brothers and sisters in alf/sinapu will help out.
Maybe it’s the Earth Firsters on the loose again. Or those Earth Liberation Front (ELF) types who burned up anything “non-natural” to the area environment in a number of western locations.
you have stolen my kind of humor and now i must stare at your user name until you are sent to planet kendor!!
I drove through western N.M. 10 days ago on way to Las Vegas. Saw a wolf in a field smelling something dead. Impressive but a little frightening.
Also two years ago one was killed at the entrance to my rural neighborhood in South East Florida. Western St. Lucie County.
Just another border security measure being removed......
