The Huckabee surge is swelling. And why? Because, despite most of the media favoritism in air time and attention of more liberal candidates, Americans are privy to the ploys of preferred political posturing not allowing their own oversight of the second tier of candidates. America is catching on to the reality that Mike is a well-rounded, real American patriot, who understands the plight of average citizens and has the experience and vision to lead America into the future.
Speaking of surges, one of the questions that arises when I speak about Huckabee is, "Why does Mike take a tough and (with many) unpopular stand on staying the course with the Iraqi war?"
The first reason is Mike understands the real threat of terrorism. Sept. 11 wasn't just a bad dream it was a nightmare reality. (We both think too many Americans have forgotten that.) Islamofascism is still a very real threat. And our war with it will not end in a draw. Extremists don't negotiate. They only want to annihilate. We will fight them overseas, or we will fight them on our streets.

Read some of the posts. Some FReepers here need to know more about Mike.
Retire the liberal tax raising, open border, algore loving, nanny state Huckster Ping
The liberal MSM must really think Social Conservatives are stupid. They keep pitching and pimping the Huckster hoping somebody will buy.
To be added please FReepmail me or OB1KNOB.

What surge? It's all media-driven, to split the vote from Fred. Huckabee barely has a million for fundraising.
That ass-kicking Bruce Lee gave Chuck must have returned and affected his judgement.

He's using what little money he's raised to pay bloggers to try to copy RP's online success. And Huckabee will never generate the enthusiasm and YouTube videos that volunteers have done for Dr. Paul.
I don't think people want to cheerfully hand out yard signs saying how good a smoking ban or open borders policy would benefit you.

Gee GaryLee, those are simply AMAZING qualifications. Let's elect him to be our president cuz he is funny, engaging, likes rock music, and is an evangelical.
BTW, he's not part of the white "working class" anymore. Last I looked, he is living in a Mansion and has no job..

“Never vote for a self-righteous ex-anything(Huckabee) or overzealous ex-prosecutor(Rudy). They are not stable emotionally and could not react rationally in a crisis situation”
We have a winner!!

I know, I know, I know. It was a single column written by David Brooks. It wasn't the Times pushing for Huckabee.

Oh, come on. As if the Times editors would let any article be put in print without vetting it and determining whether it fits the agenda.

There is a woman in our school, a reject from the East German Olympic team, who is built like a brick house.
I had to spar her once. Talk about a no win situation.
I can’t hit a woman, so I ran and danced like Ali while she tried to kill me.
That’s my only motivation to quit smoking. I have more wind than 99% of non smokers but it would help me to have a little more.

I didn’t enter the sparing events of the competitions. I sparred in practice. I won in the kata events.
