So stating Christian doctrine is now shocking? That says more about our society than it does about Ann.
That headline is an outright lie, and someone at Fox owes Ann an apology.
I do not disagree with her, but she could have been a little more circumspect...........
Deutsch's response to Coulter's statements clearly indicates he doesn't know all that many Christians ~ if any.
I know a Jews for Jesus fellow (former rabbi in fact) who could have this Deutsch guy jumping and hollering in about 10 seconds.
‘Jews Need to be Perfected by Becoming Christians’
the words are in quotes, meaning that she said the words. This is not true. She agreed with an equivalent statement, but didn’t say those words.
No matter. She has opened herself to criticism and will have to take the consequences of her words. It’s getting harder and harder to justify her rantings.
As a Jew, who has come to know the King of the Jews, I say she’s exactly right.
She’s right. If it upsets you, take it up with Jesus Christ. He said it first.
If you don’t BELIEVE in Jesus Christ, than you should not be upset at what one of his followers says you need to do, as it is of no consequence.
But if the Bible is correct, and Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for our sins, the message is clear — Accept Jesus Christ.
Only God decides who gets into heaven, don’t get me wrong. And I’m only repeating what I believe God said through his word, and you can certainly ignore that as well.
But it would be absurd, and a moral crime, for a Christian to NOT tell an unbeliever about the need for Christ when asked.
And yes, if we were all true Christians, the world WOULD be a much better place. There would still be sin in the world, but everybody would be striving to do good.
Of course, everybody wouldn’t be Christian. It is destined that many will reject the message.
People sure do get upset though when people who have firm beliefs assert the obvious meaning of those beliefs.
But then, since she has advocated invading the entire Moslem world and forcing them to convert, why should her opinions on Jews be any different?
She reminds me of a political version of Brittany Spears. A train wreck happening whenever she opens her mouth.
She’s on a roll..
So the question is, is the criticism of her for saying what seems to be an obvious statement for a Christian to make,
really driven by people upset about what she said about Fred Thompson?
Is Ann Coulter going to be thrown under the bus to keep up the illusion?
Coulter is going to catch Hell for saying so, but her statements are pretty basic stuff.
I stated on another thread that few of us warned freepers that Anne Coulter is an attention ***** and she really does go over the top on many issues. This idiotic remark by her, even if it is a joke, is stupid beyond belief, and smart conservatives should not come to her defense. Let her be marginalized, the Republicans and Conservatives do not need her stupid over the top rhetoric during the next 12 months of the Presidential elections campaign.
I am neither Christian or Jew and I see nothing wrong with Ann’s statement. She is merely stating what she believes to be true. I will say this much: If jews would stop voting left, and I can’t understand why they do, they would be a lot better off. The Democrats do NOT have the jews best interest at heart(or any interest except for getting their vote).
As a Jew, I disagree with the substance of that statement, whether she actually uttered those exact words or not. No one is going to convince me otherwise under any circumstances, so please don’t waste my time or yours by trying to get me to change my mind.
As an American and a free person, I defend her right to say what wants to.
As a conservative American, I wish that she would occasionally engage her brain before she wags her tongue. Regardless of how much she may believe what she says is true (about nearly any issue), it seems to me that most of the time all she does is give the Leftist media and politicians a tool with which to bash conservatives and Republicans. In short, I think that her rash statements hurt the causes that she supports and in which she believes.
It’s amazing how powerful words are.
This is about the 5th Ann thread today and like most is shockingly non-compliant with the rules.
The title in quotes doesn’t quite match what she appears to have said. I know Christians think Jews should become Christian. That doesn’t bother me, because I know what G-d told me to do, which He explains loud and clear in the Torah. Perhaps it is the history of forced conversions and mass murder which is the threatening undertone to the sentiment.
But there is a big difference between words and actions.
I can’t help but laugh at this one. Of course, leftwingnuts will go berzerk tonight over it, thereby giving her and her new book plenty of free advertising.
Don’t think much of this weeks Coulter column, but I do admire the self employed that are as creative in sales as she clearly is.
