As a Jew, I disagree with the substance of that statement, whether she actually uttered those exact words or not. No one is going to convince me otherwise under any circumstances, so please don’t waste my time or yours by trying to get me to change my mind.
As an American and a free person, I defend her right to say what wants to.
As a conservative American, I wish that she would occasionally engage her brain before she wags her tongue. Regardless of how much she may believe what she says is true (about nearly any issue), it seems to me that most of the time all she does is give the Leftist media and politicians a tool with which to bash conservatives and Republicans. In short, I think that her rash statements hurt the causes that she supports and in which she believes.
Replace your “Jew” with my “non-believer” and your post reflects my thoughts perfectly.
Guess it sells her books though. That’s what she cares about.
All she did was point out what ought to be obvious to Jews and Christians alike - that evangelical Christians think Jews (and everyone else) should convert, and Jews (and everyone else) have not done so.
Given that evangelical Christians also emphasize that conversion only counts if it is willing and sincere, how can anyone object?
I don’t mind Muslims wanting me to become Muslim - I only object because they think my free will in the matter is irrelevant.
Good publicity for bombthrower Ann, something I suspect Republican candidates will have to be distancing themselves from, or not.
LOL!
You are right, she is really smart, but has a bad case of hoof and mouth disease, can’t seem to keep her hoof out of her mouth.
Actually, she engaged her Faith before she engaged her tongue. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Light. No man comes to the Father but by him.
Either he is the Messiah or the biggest Fraud in Histoir. You decide.

I don't quite understand your position. I presume that you, as a Jew, affirm the truth of your scripture and tradition. If so, do you think others should convert to Judaism? Or that the world would be better off if we were all Jews?
I understand that Jews historically have not proselytized. I presume this is rooted in the long history of the Jews as a dispossessed and oppressed people who could not afford to offend the peoples among who they lived. But why the attitude persists today, at least in the United States, is beyond me.
Actually, they separate the wheat from the chaff. She's a national treasure.
