Ron Paul used to be a hero on FR.......until he dared run for Prez. Im still trying to figure out what turned everyone against him.Could be because he shares the looney-liberal position of pulling out of Iraq, which would essentially hand a victory to islamic terrorist thugs.
Not wanting to go there was one thing, but pulling out now would be a disaster.

Ron Paul used to be a hero on FR.......until he dared run for Prez. Im still trying to figure out what turned everyone against him. For anyone who was paying attention, he started to lose the hero status from the first comments he made after September 11, 2001. His opinions about our conflict with Muslim jihadists are just wrong, and people's belief in those wrong ideas is bad for the country. The anger against him today is caused by his supporters spamming of internet polls in order to show disproportional support for him. He's right about many domestic issues, but he's wrong about the nature of our enemies. His views aren't a big problem when he's just a member of the House or Representatives. He should not be president.

Ron Paul used to be a hero on FR.......until he dared run for Prez. Im still trying to figure out what turned everyone against him. His opposition to the war and his foreign policy in general has turned many conservatives against him. Though I disagree with Paul on his foreign policy, sooner or later our troops are going to have to come home inevitably from the Middle East sewer. I don't think the majority of Americans are in favor of "staying the course" for another generation at a cost of hundreds of billions of dollars per year.
But yes, there was a time when Paul was a rock star on FR, and his other conservative views certainly are far superior to the rest of the Republican candidates.

Ron Paul reminds me of "Ray Patterson", the Sanitation Commissioner that Homer ran against on
The Simpsons. (The difference being that Ron Paul is a dunce.)

(NO THIRD TERM. America does not need another unconstitutional Clinton co-presidency.)
To: Lizavetta
Not every freeper is against him. Even though I'm not a Libertarian, I've sent money to him for years for the simple reason that he knows we need to get back our constitution.
People who want a drastic change from corporate government are listening to him. We've been enslaved by the Federal Reserve and IRS and he wants to abolish those.
This time out, though, I think Duncan Hunter would be the better president.

I am a Constitutionalist as well and I have always hated liberals for viewing our Constitution as a living breathing document designed to fit their socialist agenda but our founding fathers could of never imagined terrorists flying airplanes into our buildings along with blowing up our citizens around the world.
To: lakey
At least Paul supports border security and a strong national defense. Plus a missile defense system. Even though he’s partially wrong on foreign policy he’d still be a better Commander-in-Chief than the Democrats and maybe even better than Rudy & Romney.
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
We cant always act as isolationists on the world stage but that also doesn't mean we have to play along with the Socialist nitwits at the U.N.
There is always going to be evil in the world and the answer isn't to hide in our shell with a strong missile defense system.
I am all for stronger border security and most Conservative Republicans recognize that our party has dropped the ball allowing illegal immigrants to bankrupt our hospitals and health care. We also know they're driving around without drivers licenses and without automobile insurance killing our citizens with no consequences.

Who is the Justice that just wrote the book.......I am having a sr moment...Thomas..........says it’s not a living breathing document. The Constituion I mean.

I am watching him talk with Sean Hannity right now. So sad that he being Black growing up out of the struggle of racism being told he could be anything including President then having to be destroyed by liberals placing right back into that very same struggle.
I think I understand what he means around the Constitution. I bet he means liberals legislating from the bench. Not so much the protection of our nation. I would think he would believe that our President has the right to protect us if we are in harms way and not waiting for a bunch of Pansy ass lefties in Congress to make that decision.
