You Are Quite Worldly |
And you're definitely looking forward to your future adventures abroad. You've got the passport, the desire to travel, and maybe even the language skills. Now all you need are the means! |
I confess I clicked the link with trepidation. I am supposed to be spiritual, in the world and not of the world. But, hey! It mean world-traveled and familiar with the geography. OK, no sweat. Yes, in that respect, I am indeed rather worldly. Since June I've traveled around the world twice.
Rolandeaus Rocks!
A very nice place to dine
Evening LUV.{{{HUGS}}}
Beautiful tribute to our troops.
Good evening, Worldly Tamar.
I love everything about the place..
especially the food prices!!
Aloha Herr BIGLOOK.
Ich benoetige auch schon wieder Ferien.:D
After eating there I had to wonder why we had been eating in the touristy places.
An outstanding value
I think well traveled would be better then worldly.;)
Well..
beacase the stuff I wanted you to see is in the touristy places!!
Rolandeaus is the only cool thing in Auburn!
LOL
To each their own. My steak was wonderful!

Evening Luvvy. Hugs.
If she is anything like her older sis, everything will turn out ok!
My prayers for you both!
You still haven’t forgiven me for that, have you?
C’mon!
You still have your mustache!
LOL
Evening BL
I really liked it
All the food there was awesome!
After eating my “wanna-be” fish from Long John Silver’s
tonight, you guys are making me hungry all over again.
I want some more of BB’s grilled corn...without the
“ka-BOOM”!! LOL!
Yes. It was hard on me even though I was young and physically fit. If I were like others, I would love to go to Russia, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, back to see more of the British Isles. No place else ever particularly appealed to me.
I regret that I've never been able to see most of the southern states, far northwest, far southeast and Maine. I think I've been in about 30 states. I'd love to be able to visit some places over and over.
How many states have other folks been in?
Maybe that's why I'm such a foreign film addict, I've seen some I'll bet many never heard of, Oblamov, Runaway Train (the Russian version), tons of French films. There is a freshness about them compared to most American films now even the risque or borderline porno (whatever that would be now lol) ones if the setting is pretty or whatever.
I like films that were filmed on location in the south, too, because I can't go there. Also Canadian. There was one odd one that I liked very much that had a house with a reclusive woman, can't remember the name of it. The house was a replica of the Alhambra and was falling apart.
If I were able to travel throughout the country, I tend to like places off the beaten path, especially if scenic, and drive in a leisurely manner, turn off on a side road that looks interesting. I would avoid the big cities and traditional popular vacation places like Vegas, Hawaii (might be a little different there), tourist traps I think of them. Cruises don't appeal to me either except possibly getting off the boat on some pictueresque Carribean Islands or around Alaska.
