What Makes a FReeper a FReeper?

I often wondered what exactly makes a FReeper a FReeper? Is it the simple act of reading articles on FR? Do you have to post articles or replies? To call yourself a FReeper do you need to engage in effective activism like writing letters to politicians, getting out in the street to carry signs, or, is being a FReeper an attitude. If so, what attitude is that?

Anyone can identify someone as a “Freeper” for identification purposes...if they have a FR handle and are “conservative” and not a lib-troll.....but I don’t call people a “Freeper” unless they’ve spent at least ONE INSTANCE of counter-protesting the lib-weenies or some other form of getting out of the house for some activism.

Being a “Freeper” requires action.

Intolerance toward those of us who are smarter, prettier and more rational than all the others, regardless of gender or party affiliation.

Now, a good FReeper is the one who is kind and compassionate and donates to the Save the Great Pumpkin Foundation.

A real Freeper never uses such a term. It reveals a need to try to exert control, which a true Freeper will never submit to.

The FR experience might be enhanced for all by more insightful commentary and analysis and less me-too, what he/she said posts, but then again, one of FR's attractions is that anyone can be a commentator on world events without a degree. Plus, some people start out slow and grow.

Freepers have to ability to use logic, common sense, and facts instead of emotions. I’m not saying that a FReeper is not emotonial but a FReeper uses emotions in the correct way.
