Each candidate hopes they’ll be the one who gets the question about Obama’s plan to invade Pakistan.
I’m working right now—unfortunately—so I can’t watch the damn thing with the sound off.
Mr. Alexandra Wentworth is moderating this thing too. That’s like Walt Coleman refereeing a football ga——oh, wait, that happens. Grrrrrrr.
Debate, Part 4... breakfast not included. :-)
This early?
damn.................. ;-)

thanks
How about brunch?
Makes it tough to do live commentary.
Breakfast? I’m about to have dinner! Nothing like working graveyard...
Sure, if you’re buying. ;-)
Well I could run to Dunkin Donuts and grab us a bag of Munchkins.
..we have to wait until 8 AM our time-—nuts!

Excellent! I like the idea of radio debates in general. Their advantage over TV is that since time isn't as precious/scarce as TV time, the debates can in principle be far less of a pressure cooker affair. And the lack of video removes the hair factor from consideration . . .I would however prefer true debates in which two individuals squared off without questions or limitations from a moderator - only a chess timer controlling the microphones. If the candidates actually need a moderator, they are pretty worthless at public speaking in the first place. In reality the moderator is normally an "objective" (note the scare quotes) journalist whose fondest hope is that the conservative(s) in the debate will commit "gaffes."
Sam Brownback
Rudy Giuliani
Mike Huckabee
Duncan Hunter
John McCain
Mitt Romney
Ron Paul
Tom Tancredo
Tommy Thompson
.
They only have to beat Biden on substance, Obama on style.
I hope Steffie in the Republican Debate asks the hard questions, like the Youtubers did, so we can get answers:
Who was your favorite teacher?
What was your favorite subject in high school?
At what age did you go on your first date?
What is your favorite book?
What is your favorite movie?
Who is your favorite actor?
Who is your favorite actress?
What is your favorite color?
Boxers or briefs?
