Each candidate hopes they’ll be the one who gets the question about Obama’s plan to invade Pakistan.

I’m working right now—unfortunately—so I can’t watch the damn thing with the sound off.

Mr. Alexandra Wentworth is moderating this thing too. That’s like Walt Coleman refereeing a football ga——oh, wait, that happens. Grrrrrrr.

Excellent! I like the idea of radio debates in general. Their advantage over TV is that since time isn't as precious/scarce as TV time, the debates can in principle be far less of a pressure cooker affair. And the lack of video removes the hair factor from consideration . . .

I would however prefer true debates in which two individuals squared off without questions or limitations from a moderator - only a chess timer controlling the microphones. If the candidates actually need a moderator, they are pretty worthless at public speaking in the first place. In reality the moderator is normally an "objective" (note the scare quotes) journalist whose fondest hope is that the conservative(s) in the debate will commit "gaffes."

I hope Steffie in the Republican Debate asks the hard questions, like the Youtubers did, so we can get answers:

Who was your favorite teacher?
What was your favorite subject in high school?
At what age did you go on your first date?
What is your favorite book?
What is your favorite movie?
Who is your favorite actor?
Who is your favorite actress?
What is your favorite color?
Boxers or briefs?

[/s]

Any streaming audio ANYWHERE to be found, of this event, live? (I doubt it, due to copyright laws).

Just wondering.

Many overseas would like to tune in!

For those watching live, give detailed accounts so that those with latter video feeds can follow along later.

Instead of “What a stupid answer,” explain what the candidate’s stupid answer was. That goes double for stupid questions. :-)

Jeff Frazee National Youth Coordinator at Ron Paul 2008 will be broadcasting live from the Iowa Debate and "Spin Room" as early as 8am CT Sunday.

Also... I just got a call from Iowa, the pre-debate rally is taking place right now, and the word is that Ron Paul's supporters are outnumbering the opponents 20-1... Go folks, make some noise!

You know their is really no difference between the Freeper purists and the Kosy Kids. The both demand that their every political whimsy be slavishly worshiped by all political candidates.

Problem is their aren’t enough people who agree with you feverish fringes to elect a dog catcher, much less a President.

I didn’t like seeing them post polling percentages as they were introduced. People have a tendency for wanting to be in a majority and feeds into people’s prejudices about who “can win.” Not one vote has been cast and no votes will be casted for many months.

I have to conclude that deep down the Freeper Fringers REALLY want Hillary to win and the Democrats to control Congress after 2008.

It is the only logical conclusion one can draw by looking at their pertinent whinny self destructive behavior.

See if the Dems win, all the Dincons will have to do for the next 8 years is sit around and whine endlessly about everything political. They will not actually have to get off their lazy butts and actually do the hard work of educating on Conservative values and standing for things.

No, instead they can sit around and whine about everything while mindlessly patting each other on the back about how doctrinally pure they are and how stupid everyone else is for not listening to their political “genius”

/p>

That is why they spend ALL their time sniping their own side in the back. They don't want to be in the majority where they can actually get things done. They just want the excuse to sit around and bitch and whine about everything.

Sorry but the future of this country is way more important then the Perpetually Pouting Dinocon choir getting the chance to spend the next 8 years gratifying their over developed egos.
