FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

HINT & TIPS Welcome to another installment of the FReeper Canteen Hints & Tips. Hopefully, youll find something here that youve never heard before. If you have tried one of these hints, please share your thoughts on it. Tonight, well do some general household hints.
*** Metal cookie cutters double up nicely as unique napkin holders for special dinners. If you want, spray paint them to match the decor.
*** Remove adhesive from stickers on glass by rubbing vegetable oil with a soft cloth or paper towel, then wash. *** Pan size is measured from the top, not the bottom.
*** Put used steel wool scrubbing pads in a plastic bag and store in the freezer to help prevent rust.
*** Trouble putting the lid on a plastic container? Run the lid under hot water for 20-30 seconds and it will close easily. *** Glass tabletops will sparkle if you rub gently with lemon juice or with vinegar, then dry with paper towels and polished with newspapers. (All hints found on websites. Management makes no claims to the effectiveness of any hints) Join us again next week for more hints.

AFN Korea had a report about the Army needing more broadcast guys. They profiled an infantry guy who came from the Old Guard. He was shown doing a radio show in Korea! He said when he reupped he changed to, I think, Broadcast Journalism...then AIT again and after 4 months in Korea he was doing the radio show, afternoon drive, and doing stories.....just like someone I know.

Good evening Ma!
*HUG*
Good evening Canteeners and Troops!
How’s everybody tonite?
Not a bad day, I had a short and gentle ride on the Harley..
Not too bad at all!
There’s a little country store about a mile up the road that is kind of unique to Maine..
It’s one of these places where you can do anything from renting DVDs to gettng your deer tagged.
Every Weds is BBQ nite up there, and everythings a dollar.
So we had ribs, chicken and tater salad and ice cream for 4 bucks each!
Yummers!
I’m in for abit!
Hugs alla round!
