I hate to say this, but Wal*Mart, my fav store in the whole world, has some of this.

If we can close down the border and the Feds can start jailing employers who hire the illegal criminals, we may see this subside somewhat.

I hate to ruin your day, but many “big box” chains are in business to sell things to people at the bottom of our economic ladder. It just so happens that more and more of these people are Spanish-speaking customers these days.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that crap. The one that makes no sense to me is why there is brail on the keys at an drive thru ATM.

I haven’t shopped at Worst Buy since they stiffed me on a rebate 3 years ago.

My experience is not unique, it is the LOWEST rated store of all electronics retailers.

How bad are they? I would support amnesty and Hillary Clinton before I would give those bums another dime!

I’m getting all Spanish flyers on my front door here in Phoenix. I put a for-sale sign on my old clunker in front of my house and all I got were calls from Spanish-only speakers. I think I got invited to a La Raza pro-amnesty protest, but I’m not sure.

You need to get out more. Lowe’s, Home Depot, Walmart, K-Mart, Target..... All the same. I’m still grateful the grocery and restaurants haven’t caved.

My husband took the propane tank to Home Depot to exchange it for a full one, and he encountered a clerk that did not speak English and just stood there are stared at him. He had to wander the store looking for someone that speaks English. He emailed Home Depot about this situation, and received the following reply:

Not just the big box stores. CVS now has NO or SI on their debit card machines at the registers.

It's been that way for years here in Alta California. Wait until your ballots come in about eight different languages, and in order to have a job as a policeman you have to be bilingual.

Some of the big boxes are doing it in all their stores, and some in select areas. I see Spanish subtitles on all the cleaning supplies in the grocery store ( I guess that’s for the maids).

Uh, what's the big deal? The last time that I checked, Best Buy was a privately-owned corporation, not an arm of government. They can print their signs in Albanian if they want to.

I'm in favor of making English the official language of government. But even if that ever happens, stores like "Mejor Compra" can use, print signs, or otherwise conduct business in Spanish or any other language they wish to employ. It's called freedom, and it's the American Way. Como liberdád es no hay otro.

I’m not sure I understand your frustration, the signs were in english, right?

Don’t blame Best Buy because their customer base is increasingly mexican and they only speak spanish, they’re just trying to accommodate who walks through the door. Blame your politicians whom have ignored the problem for 30 years...and still do.

You can also blame all the people not in border states for collectively giving a raspberry to the border states 30 years ago when we tried to get this issue to the for-front and when it could have been easily been solved with only a few million illegals to deal with. I can still remember the responses, like “screw you Californicators” and “it’s YOUR problem Arizona!” and “tough shiite Texas, HAHAH”.

Well, now it’s everyones problem and unfortunately the only solution in DC is to give them all (and their families) amnesty, welfare, Soc Sec, etc. etc..

When I'm traveling in a foreign country, I'm grateful when businesses post signs in English as well as the local language. I think businesses are totally within their rights (legally and morally) to post their signs in the languages of their choosing.

An Official English law wouldn't help you here, unless you favor the Quebec model of punishing businesses that post signs in any language but French.

An English as official language law would do nothing about signs in a Best Buy.

Up here in Vermont we have lots of products and signs that are bilingual (French & English) I never thought it was a big deal.
