Well, Here I thought I was still living in the US of A. I felt good after El Presidenta Jorge's Shamesty Bill went down in flames.
I ventured over to the new Best Buy store to buy a DVD. I did a double take: every freeking sign in the store has spanish subtitles!
I had to leave right then or my blood pressure would have gone out of sight. I could understand signs like this in an airport, but in an electronics store, in Maryland (Home of Political Enchantment)???.
I love capitalism, but Best Buy should be ashamed!!!
I plan on writing the HQ of Best Buy and say I don't plan to buy anything from them until they replace the signs with English!
Time to make English THE Official Language !!!
Time for a English as Official Language Law for sure!
If we can close down the border and the Feds can start jailing employers who hire the illegal criminals, we may see this subside somewhat.
I hate to ruin your day, but many “big box” chains are in business to sell things to people at the bottom of our economic ladder. It just so happens that more and more of these people are Spanish-speaking customers these days.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that crap. The one that makes no sense to me is why there is brail on the keys at an drive thru ATM.
I haven’t shopped at Worst Buy since they stiffed me on a rebate 3 years ago.
My experience is not unique, it is the LOWEST rated store of all electronics retailers.

How bad are they? I would support amnesty and Hillary Clinton before I would give those bums another dime!
I’m getting all Spanish flyers on my front door here in Phoenix. I put a for-sale sign on my old clunker in front of my house and all I got were calls from Spanish-only speakers. I think I got invited to a La Raza pro-amnesty protest, but I’m not sure.
“Spanish-speaking customers”
Mexicans?
Well if anything else I can give you pointers on spanish, I am not that good but it will hopefully get me by when we start calling ourselves los Estados Unidos de América y México.

Not just the big box stores. CVS now has NO or SI on their debit card machines at the registers.
Maybe. Or immigrants from any other Spanish-speaking country (Dominican Republic, Central/South American countries, etc.).
Home Depot sucks too. Nothing but bad lumber, overpriced tools and Chicom hardware that breaks.
Some of the big boxes are doing it in all their stores, and some in select areas. I see Spanish subtitles on all the cleaning supplies in the grocery store ( I guess that’s for the maids).
Assuming that’s a serious question, it’s because the ATMs are a generic outdoor (or possibly indoor/outdoor) model that are used in non-drive-thru applications as well.
“spanish speaking customers”
The batteries on my organic euphemism translater are just about shot, FRiend.
“immigrants” “undocumented workers” “pathway to citizenship” “undocumented Americans” “comprehensive immigration reform” “doing the work Americans won’t do” “those who don’t want what’s best for America” and so forth and so on and on . . .
I’m just fed-up with the bollocks/bovine excrement we’ve been fed by amnesty advocates these past few weeks, Canadian cousin. It’s over.
America won/refused to sign on to our government’s attempt to surrender to a peasant occupying army, so . . . why not speak English again?
1. I ain't a Canadian.
2. You probably be surprised at just how many LEGAL immigrants in this country don't speak a word of English. Heck, there are neighborhoods in New York City where even third-generation family members don't speak English at all.
