Verbs are nice
That communism had on Poles.
Brilliant expose nothing like seeing it in living color.
Snugs...luv ya but you are wrong about the flow of responsibility. Harry Truman even had a sign on his desk... The buck stops here http://www.ustravelphotos.com/Missouri/images/MO%2001P%20Truman%20Library9.jpg
The President is the operating officer of government in our system. Progress, or lack thereof, on the border fence is his responsibility.
Kinda scary.
Kristol says he is a “liberal” on immigration and has been highly critical of the amnesty bill especially the entire backroom process. He has been bashing it for weeks.
Oh absolutely. Problem is that is change is painful . I mean the buggy whip makes did not like the auto putting them out of business right? Change is inevitable but most people don't like change. I suspect the solution will only come with time. My generation has a much more cynical view of work then say Hillary Clinton's generation. Most of us have been thru at least one mass layoff or been "downsized". Hillary's generation seems to think their employers is suppose to simply replace their parents and take care of them for life.
If this week is anything like last week, probably not, at least about talking about illegal aliens. I wouldn't worry about it, though, because I don't think anybody has agreed with his position, which is probably why he keeps looking for people to argue with.
It's almost like seeing my ex at a party - just say hello and keep walking.
I did not mis-hear that stupid thug, John Murtha.
“Yet, about one minute into Stephanopoulos interview with Murtha, the Congressman said (video available here):
You heard earlier where he said this incident in the United States is being driven by al Qaeda, is being inspired by al Qaeda. This is the kind of thing that is happening because of our troops in Iraq.”

If the workers at McDonalds serve the hamburgers frozen -- it's not the shift manager's fault, and it's certainly not the franchise owner's fault. Yes. Wonderful management theory thinking. Leading edge.
You may well be right also it may depend on what company they keep.
I don’t doubt what you say at all, but those farmers should hire their workers the correct way - with work visas. To use just any illegal on the sidewalk is contributing to the problem.
That is also the case in Britain most people of 50 and under consider there is such a thing as a job for life and accept you probably need to re-train at least 3 times during your working life.
ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
;-)
Yes, I will say I was rather appalled by the rather casual attitute towards trash there seems to be in much of England. OF course I was in the touristy areas which may explain it.
I was on the Thames Embankment near London Bridge when the trash collectors picked up some trash from some business. Now this is a major touristy area and it was Easter weekend so thousands of people were walking around this area. One of the bags of trash broke and the trash collectors merely drove off and left the trash all over the side walks! Simply appalling.
However that was one of the few bleak spots in an otherwise superb vacation. I cannot wait to go back to England! My brother’s contract has been renewed for a year at a different school. This one is in Wokingham which is sort of England’s IT center. Lots of American companies have their HQs out there. I am all ready plotting how I can go back for a month next year!
Also why should we put any faith in those numbers? The Shadows hide.
However I think it is a bit extreme to take it up the Franchise owner as he probably has never stepped foot in the building after there were at least 2 levels below him that should have caught it.
Why do you have to tagteam w/Radioguy?? I have a clue, many of them are working construction and labor intensive industries. Can you lift 200 lbs 8 hrs a day?
Pray for W and Our Troops
