I agree it has been an issue for awhile although not as explosive and I also agree that the media is hammering the president for his stance but on this I think he deserves it. I am not a Bush hater, I still support the war, I think he has done some really good things but on this I believe he is dead wrong and it could have a huge affect on our nation and culture.

Who was the fashion designer that was murdered on his boat in Miami?

I’m not joking about this, I’m not sure if it was CNN or MSNBC wanted to get in touch
with the actors/writers/producers of CSI Miami, to see if they could help solve the crime.

I’m series on this one rodguy, do you remember that??

We’re not going to catch 100% of them....but what we realistically need to do is catch enough of them and enforce the laws that we have to the point where they stop wanting to come here illegally.

Howie talking about Rosie and then compares her “argument culture” to OReilly, Hannity, and Olberman...he doesn’t use a single example from CNN (Like that Cafferty idiot). Shame on Howie, showing his bias like that (my comment: HA!; immitating the spitter.

Rachael Sklar (from huffpo) said she is glad to see Rosie go; uses term “bluster versus facts”. Good comment on Rosie.

Gail Shister thinks that Rosie got kicked off because she is a woman who was yelling.

Mary Ham (love her) says that she thinks that Rosie whimped out because Elizabeth finally hit back. Says that abc really missed the boat by allowing Rosie to continue with her irrational garbage.

If we can fight terrorists from a dozen or so countries in Iraq we can handle 20 million illegals in our own country. It just takes resolve thats all.

I have not seen the details of the illegal alien bill, or the status of our holdings on Cuba. Is there any chance that this legislation would make the Guantanamo detainees eligible for a Z-card?

Agreed....

I was referring to the traditional laws, not the unenforced recent bile and certainly not the retroactive sewage on the table right now.

LOL. No...it's bad, but it's not that bad. That is, unless they can get their feet on American soil. Then all bets are off since you can apply for a z visa using any name you want. You do not have to prove who you are.

Yes, I agree, in a general sense, he did blame Bush for all the ineptness...katrina, the TB traveler, etc.

You are right. There is no democrat politician in my red state that would be so stupid to insult his union member constituents by repeatingly defending illegal immigration by claiming we need them to do the work Americans won’t do. Only republicans are stupid enough to repeat that kind of refrain.

Democrat politicians in red states lie and to prove that point .. just take a look at Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano

Here's the thing .. there are jobs that americans won't/can't do .. so on that point the President is not completely wrong

So yes, there is a need for a guest workers

The problem is .. there AREN'T 12-20 million jobs that americans won't/can't do

And the President isn't completely wrong about this bill not being a blanket amensty bill

Though it's pretty damn close to it with the Z visa plan

It would be more productive to actually point out what is wrong with this immigration bill then to just running around sounding like the Daily Kos
