Communism, version 2.0
This is nothing more than an extension of her communist manifesto. She has already stated that she plans to take what we have away for the common good (bigger and bigger government). Amen.
Didn’t Karl Marx say that first?
The problem is that this argument has a lot of ears. Half the population has an IQ lower than 100. Add to that the new peasant class we are about to create with amnesty and you have another Chavista who can take over. Communism, the gift that keeps on giving.
Tell it to the judge.
Just last summer I had a co-worker complain that "something must be done" about high fuel prices . . . because he paid over $1,000 in fuel for his boat over the 4th of July weekend.
It would be funny if it weren't so damned pathetic. Though maybe it's funny anyway.
What economic factors?
Our economy is the ENVY OF THE WORLD. Our interest rates are near the lowest levels of the last 30 years.
Our unemployment rate is lower than the average during the Clinton years--even lower than most economists ever said was possible without inflation (most economists used to call 5% the lowest possible unemployment rate without inflation).
Even gas prices--adjusted for inflation are about the same as they were 25 years ago.
The stock market (meaning everyone's IRA's and 401k's too) are at all time record highs.
Home ownership is at the highest level EVER.
Yep, good reason to be angry about our economy (rolling eyes). /s
“What economic factors and who is it in an uproar?”
Price of gas, smokes, cable TV, etc...folks in fly-over see their bills rise and are ready for a change...
More anger than over illegal immigration? Think there is ANY connection between the questionable statistic and relentless liberal media propaganda around the 'widening gap' and the 20 million illegals in the USA? For every native family that has moved up we've let 4 Mexican families in at the bottom.
By failing to note this fact the great myth of the 'disapearing middle class' has been created and hawked endlessly. A variation of the 'homeless crisis' that appears with every Republican administration, and miraculously disapears with the innaguration of a Democratic one.
Which isn't to say you're not right, you probably are. It's likely to be a winning strategy. Just like the "culture of corruption" was. Just about as real, too.
Regardless of what people feel, or have been innudated with propaganda to believe, there is absolute proof that going further down the Socialist spiral, while perhaps emotionally appealing (now we are socking it to those fat-cat CEOS!) always results in reduced prosperity
I see that Holly Ramer and the editors at AP aren’t writing this story with the same breathless editorializing that they do for any Bush speech. Nope. Just tell ‘em what Hillary said. No disenting opinions, quotes from Republicans, learned professors, etc.
Even when they’re not trying they’re biased.
Perfect campaign poster.
She should anounce her running mate ASAP. I hear Hugo Chavez may be looking for a job.
How much of the $43 million he's earned since "retiring" is the First Rapist sharing?
I hope it's more than the 0.2% that he contributed to charity while we had access to his tax returns.
Just saying.
“to ignore...the anger over economic factors...and just sling names at the opposition is a big loser...”
maybe so, but it sure feels good.
I have 2 cats, does that count? (they do not work, therefore do not contribute to household expenses).
