it’s time to replace an “on your own” society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity.
Kind of brings meaning to her speech “We are going to take away from you for the common good of all”.
To: HarmlessLovableFuzzball
Damn, she isnt even trying to be subtle about her socialism..

Socialists all. If we can’t all succeed together we must all fail together.
And those who can, must wear the lodestone of those who either CAN’T (some) or WON’T (most) around their necks.
Didn’t we fight and win a Cold War over this?

Oh my. This is probably the closest thing to a proposition for communism in the US that I have ever heard from a US Senator. Of the many ironies contained in her statement the greatest to me is that she says that government should start benefitting all people. Taken literally that would mean that I would have to start getting WIC and welfare checks and stop paying those pesky taxes. I don’t think fair is what she wants.

Surprised only that she’s partially sharing her communist agenda at this juncture.

Yeah... because self-determination and self-reliance have made this country fail so horribly.
Oh wait, I mean, made America into the most prosperous, powerful nation on earth.

We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." Hillary Clinton

If the gap between rich and poor is widening, then it’s the government’s fault. Let’s face it, the government runs everything these days.
