Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal ^ | May 23, 2007 | Marty Russell

I would hate to have been the guy whose job it was to round up and herd a couple of T. rexes onto the ark.

This Memorial Day weekend marks the opening of the new Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky., which purports to tell the history of the world based on creationism instead of evolution...

Genesis 3:17-18

And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life;

thorns and thistles it shall bring forth to you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. 19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

gcruse ...

Gotta ask ya ... where in the world did you find the picture of Jesus riding the back of a brontosaurus? If possible, post the URL for it here on this thread.

Thanks a bunch,

I'm really curious, what about the dinosaurs? When were they created?

You don't really think they created themselves do you??

I think maybe thorns and thistles evolved later maybe after the dinosaurs. Maybe, when man was in paridise he was a small furry rodent, and the dinosaurs also came later as part of that curse?

So I guess being less appealing to herbivores has nothing to do with the whole thorns and thistles thing?

Actually the biblical value of “3” is just as accurate as the 3.14159 value listed, it is just not as precise. By the same logic you could argue that 3.14159 is not accurate because the actual precise value is an infinite string. Accuracy and precision are two different things

No it's not since 30 cubits divided by 10 cubits is still 3, not 3.1 or 3.14 or 3.14159. But perhaps you can get the Alabama legislature to really say it is.

Before the fall man had a utopia, after the fall came the bad/hard things in life so we could experience our awakening and reap from it accordingly.

The Bible says God made the dinosaurs with man.

No it doesn't. Just because the Bible mentions the "leviathan" - does not mean dinosaurs lived side by side with man. Leviathan was most likely referring to a whale.

gcruse ...

Thanks for the directions. Went to the site that has it, and uh ... the site is not my cup of tea. Seems to be rather of an anti-Christian slant (I’m a Traditional Roman Catholic). Sooo ... gonna pass on that particular site, as I can’t support or condone their pro-sinners rhetoric. Oh well, the picture did give me a laugh and I thank you for posting it.

Peace out to you and thanks again,

Oh man ... where are you guys getting these? If you find more, please post them here. Anyone know who the artist is and if they were published as a series? Are this part of a children’s book?

Correction for above ...

“Are this” should read “Are these”

Actually no, 30 has one significant figure and 10 has one significant figure, therefore the result of dividing of the two can only have one significant figure. But this leads us to two possible explanations:
1. The measurements are rounded values. Hardly makes sense to expect them to measure 0.14159 arm lengths :o).
2. The basin being measured most likely had a fluted rim on it, so the measurements are of two different circles.

Here is a quick reference (from the same folks who are opening the museum btw)
