Moses inferred to the coming savior but did not precisely name Jesus Christ. None of the old testament prophets named him outright, they could not since the angel told Joseph and Mary what to name him right before his birth.

But, why did Poison Oak and other vegetation survive? Surely Brussel Sprouts were not a part of the Garden of Eatin. Poison Oak/Ivy are just more items to torture outdoorsmen.

Brussel sprouts right of the plant are great. Frozen or canned they’re kinda gross.
When the curse on man( Adam and Eve ) came it caused thistles and other thorny plants to grow and man had to earn his bread by the sweat of his brow.

I love lima beans, even when I was a kid. Poisen Ivy doesn’t bother me, not sure about poisen oak. Maybe it didn’t bother Adam and Eve either, maybe they had thick skin back then for the thistles.
There is that viewpoint, to be sure.
I guess that explains fire ants and cockroaches too.
