Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal ^ | May 23, 2007 | Marty Russell

Are you still out there, Teach?

Jesus claimed that Moses wrote about Him.

Are you saying that Jesus was a liar in regard to this matter?

To my knowledge that doesn’t exist. But some of the YECs that believe man and ‘saur lived together need to believe that to explain why they didn’t wipe us out.

Moses inferred to the coming savior but did not precisely name Jesus Christ. None of the old testament prophets named him outright, they could not since the angel told Joseph and Mary what to name him right before his birth.

"...who’s ‘big idea’ was it to make room for mosquito’s, roaches,..."

Yeah, why Mosquitos? To torture outdoorsmen on Sunday, when they should be home or in church.

But, why did Poison Oak and other vegetation survive? Surely Brussel Sprouts were not a part of the Garden of Eatin. Poison Oak/Ivy are just more items to torture outdoorsmen.

Lima beans. Why on earth are there lima beans? Is it natures way of torturing small children?

Discuss amongst yourselves....

I, on the other hand, enjoy the occasional pile of Limas. Esp. canned Lima beans (the big ones) and ham. An excellent side, I must say.

What did Stephen King ever do to deserve being lumped in with that company?

Being lumped with that crowd is even disrespectfull to Ted Bundy. At least King and Bundy were competent!

Brussel sprouts right of the plant are great. Frozen or canned they’re kinda gross.

When the curse on man( Adam and Eve ) came it caused thistles and other thorny plants to grow and man had to earn his bread by the sweat of his brow.

I love lima beans, even when I was a kid. Poisen Ivy doesn’t bother me, not sure about poisen oak. Maybe it didn’t bother Adam and Eve either, maybe they had thick skin back then for the thistles.
