This world is not my home, I'm just passing through.
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.
The angels beckon me from Heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

Chorus
O Lord you know I have no friend like you
If Heaven's not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from Heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

They're all expecting me and that's one thing I know.
My Savior pardoned me and now I onward go.
I know He'll take me through, though I am weak and poor.

Chorus
O Lord you know I have no friend like you
If Heaven's not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from Heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

Just up in Glory Land we'll live eternally.
The Saints on every hand are shouting victory.
Their song of sweetest praise drifts back from Heaven's shore
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

Chorus
O Lord you know I have no friend like you
If Heaven's not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from Heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

If Bubba or Hillary were to meet their demise, this place would turn into Carnival.

Most of us do not care if Bubba and Bubbette walk the earth for decades to come, we just do not want them ever walking the halls of the White House again.

Probably because Savage is Jewish. It wouldn’t set well to be told that you can’t enter heaven unless you’re a Christian.

There are some comments with an attempt at humor but nothing that could be called hatefilled or viscious. Mostly well wishes and prayers.

My mother was taken to Lynchburg General when she had her stroke in Appomattox (Vera, VA). Their diagnostic equipment was down for maintenance, so she was transported to Virginia Baptist Hospital. On the way over she had a second stroke and died (back in ‘87) several weeks later.

To be absent from the body is to be at home with the Lord. What an amazing life he led. Prayers to his family and all who loved him.

You need to re-read your posts. You claimed that it happened here, too. It just did not.

I won’t address you again, AppyPappy.

Odd that you jumped in to defend someone defending the leftists.

Surely am not defending the leftist scum.

Just pointing out that there are certain high ranking democrats whose demise would bring out the worst of us too.

Well, I’ve been known to wander over to the DUmp, but not today. I don’t think I’d be able to wash off the filth and muck. FReepers are not like that, no matter who it’s about.

Over the years I was seldom on the same page as Reverend Falwell, and I believe that he did more harm than good overall. Nevertheless, I do believe he was a sincere Christian, and that his mistakes were made with the best of intentions. It is my hope that the Lord will judge him (and me, and all of us poor sinners) mercifully.

Prayers for his soul and for his sorrowing loved ones.

Five minutes ago, I just heard of Jerry Falwell’s passing into eternal glory. I do remember that interview with Falwell that Michael Savage did.

On a day like today, we can best pray for Savage. Jerry Falwell does not need our prayers now, for he is with his Redeemer at this moment, of that I am sure. Not because of anything that Jerry Falwell did correctly, but only because of what Jesus did right on the cross.

Well Savage is not a practicing Jew but Prager and Medved are Jewish and it doesn’t bother them what Christians believe. It was just odd that Savage got so rattled that Falwell believed that—seems like he would have already known.

Prayers to Rev. Falwell’s family. What a shame, but what joy for his weary soul.

Thank HEAVEN for Jerry Falwell. I believe it was his well-organized and prayer-backed movement that gave us Reagan.
