No, the weekend was a bust.

Mom’s been sick lately with gastric problems so the celebration was put off till next weekend.

Then my dad was admited into the hospital for chest pain last night. But he is ok, they’re just keepin’ him for observation and more testing tommorrow.

Everybody in the service knows the harassment corpsmen get on a regular basis. It maybe a collective payback for experiences incurred in basic training. Anyway, when a corpsman is really needed its “MEDIC!”

LOL
It’s NEVER too early to think about winter if you live up here!
I’ll have lots of wood, yes..
But most of it is pine, and that’s not great for the chimney..
It burns fast and hot and leaves alot of creosote behind..
All of the good stuff (hardwood) is still standing of course!

Oh, my goodness, BB!!

I am sorry that your sweet parents are having problems. I pray that your Dad will be okay and that the tests come out all right.

I pray also that your Mom’s problems are only temporary.

I look forward to meeting them. Will I get to?

Sorry about your Mom, Happy about your Dad...

Why can’t parents behave themselves?

Don’t they know how much we worry?
