We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
Well, duh. Then how about going to work to make sure we get a CONSERVATIVE elected?
It wouldn’t have helped with justsayin.
Several of the more patient freepers asked him beautifully constructed questions, and he would just ignore them and go back to his sing-song rhythm.
Not to state the obvious, but Rudy IS like Hitlery! That's the problem!

It’s long overdue this clean-up, and my hats off to Mr. Robinson and the mods. ;-)
My last exchange with Grunt, after PhiKapMom posted her opus bashing Fred, he knew it was coming...
Proud of getting another one gone, herr field marshal?

Whatever.
I can vote for people in Washington but can witness to my neighbors and co-workers. That will have a far greater impact over time than anything I do with my vote.
SUre looks that way. Sad.
Hate bust your bubble, but there are many of us "evos" still here.
Good. I’d hate to see it become a policy. I’d rather see people donate regularly (like I will when things improve for me financially) just because, not because people they dislike are banned. Just seems wrong, somehow.
LOL More great work!
It sure looks like Troll season is officially open.
Jim, THAT I am doing...
as I said...”Go, Fred, Go”!!!
It ought to work the other way around. If some of the yap yap toy doggies less desirable members are shown to the street, Free Republic will become more user-friendly, attractive, and welcoming to the right kind of folks. One hopes this will bring a gush of new revenues. Even if it doesn't, some of us old guard will enjoy their new quiet, civilized atmosphere so much, they will increase their contributions. Me, for one.
Smile and enjoy the day.
At least that's what we're allowed to see. According to the current issue of Rolling Stone, Alan Keyes, the former Republican candidate for President, didn't cooperate. When Borat sat down with him, the first thing he did was offer a gift he said was the "bone of a Jew." Keyes immediately ripped off the microphone, stalked off the set and refused to cooperate anymore. Of course you don't see that in the film. The great power of the documentary filmmaker is the power to edit the final cut.

Sure smells to me like another sleeper troll coming to the light...
You gotta admit this zot is funny as hell.
That was my point. I have been donating $20 everytime some RINO pain in my rear gets banned.
No bag limit.
That is despicable and racist.
