Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

You’re wasting your time.

This fruitcake is a least a 1000 posts behind and won’t read your response for another hour. If that.

Too many people have been trying to have reasonable discussion with him/her and the response is generally smarmy and vindictive.

I gave up on this ‘person’ a long time ago..

Nice quote:

The totalitarian world produces backwardness because it does such violence to the spirit, thwarting the human impulse to create, to enjoy, to worship. — Ronald Reagan

Made me think: The PC /Gay agenda/Feminazi movement is very totalitarian. Tolerance becomes intolerance. It crushes dissent. It tries to reshape human society to make it feel good about itself...and it doesn’t care the social costs.

We have to stop it.

Abortion as it is today is without risk? Of course not. But every unborn dies huh? I’ll say it over and over again. What you say now was once said about organ transplants too, especially a heart.

‘Host’ eh? Interesting choice of words you used there.

I am sorry that you think exploring a way to preserve the life of an unborn child is something you find morally and ethically repulsive.

Look, I am not trying to be combative. I am trying to engage in a civil discussion about possible solutions concerning a very an ugly subject. Remember, in terms of the goal being about preserving the lives of the unborn, we are absolutely on the same side.

What's sad is you actually believe this.

Good statement, unless you are intentionally writing to be misunderstood. People do that one, too...

Everyday we all make choices and then we are confronted with another one to make. We make that one and another appears. That never ever stops.

You have your position and I am supposed to respect it. I have, I have not attacked you for it. I ask you, have you shown me that same respect?

the medical field has developed a method for transplanting an unborn child from one woman's womb into another's. Yet we have a woman who simply wants to abort her child instead of transplanting it. Should she be allowed to do so?

No, because there is no valid argument to be made to do so. She retains a choice that accomplishes what it is she seeks. That being not pregnant.

Nonsense - what she seeks is to abort the child. A "child transplant" is undoubtedly a more invasive procedure with additional risks. By your own logic, she has a right to govern her health and so the choice should be hers.

Unless you think that child retains its own rights. In which case any logic or morality applied to your fairytale world must also be applied today.

Today, the case is made that the unborn death is the result of no alternative, therefor it has to be accepted.

WTF!?! I have never heard anyone make that case except for you. Of course there is an alternative - carry the child to full term. When the rights of two individuals (mother and child) conflict, the temporary physical accommodation of the mother clearly does not warrant death to the child. Agreed?

What have I not answered Mom MD? I responded to a comment that was directed to me from the owner. I am not supposed to do so?

I have not whined one little bit and I have tried to answer every post made to me. What have I missed?
