Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

Some more words:

“nonsense about rudy being the only one who can beat her is horse manure”

I agree unconditionally. Conservatism wins every time it stands up for itself. The only reason the question of what-if-Rudy-wins comes to my mind is this:

Many states have open primaries. If the Dims have pretty much resolved their contest by the time that state’s primaries roll around, all the Dims vote in *our* primary. You know which Republican they’ll pick. So, to win in the primaries we have to not only hold firm but also beat the crossovers.

Anyway now is the time to fiercely demand the best. Didn’t mean to stir up hornet’s nests, but since our founder has been posting fervently I thought it’d be good to get his word on the subject, which we now have.

Oh, Kevmo: no point of talking about ‘socon.’ There’s only conservative and not conservative.

Sometimes you have to settle. In fact, more often than not when it comes to politics. Sad but true.

"There’s only conservative and not conservative."

I agree, but there are some on this website that believe us religious types and gun nuts have had our "foot on the neck of the party for too long." (Sorry, I don't remember the poster and I'm sure I'm paraphrasing.) I never realized there was so much animosity towards the 2nd Amendment and Christianity.

What do you think drives the Rudybots?

***But I’ve noticed that even the rudybots wouldn’t call themselves ‘socons’, so it is a useful parsing tool.

“Do you think Giuliani’s people will try to reach out to you, to try to change your mind to accepting his positions?”

Pardon me opining here, but I say they will fall and will fall with their pride held high in the sky. Just a matter of balance, they will get to where it will take only one finger, and may it be the middle finger at that :)

Rudy?

I still know he will be the toughest on law and order.

RUDY???

I'm not convinced. I have yet to see anywhere Rudy has pushed for execution of child molesters or advocated legislation that would permit it.

If Rudy the prosecutor didn't push for the death penalty (or at least advocate its NY state legalization) in homicide cases, he was either a tool of, or a tooler of, the Marxist stealth philosophy that wants a lot of prisons with a lot of unionized prison guards to vote a certain way...and felon prisoners to vote for your friends as soon as you can get them out for good behavior.

Consequences that don't include capital punishment for homicides are extended time-outs--and serve to advance the Current Communist Goals. Until proven otherwise, I consider Rudy a Cultural Marxist.
