Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

This is a conservative forum, there is a presumption that its members are conservative.

Conservative values are what we believe, and they are interdependent of each other. The social aspect of conservativism comes from our God-given rights as mentioned in the Declaration of Independence and protected (but still God-given) by the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I DEMAND MY RIGHT TO DISSENT AND DISRUPT THE DISCUSSION IN JIM’S LIVING ROOM!

Our belief in limited government is also spelled out in these same documents that our Founding Fathers bestowed, by God’s Grace, on us for our posterity.

AH, GET REAL, THOSE OLD DEAD WHITE DUDES FATHERED THE MOTHER OF ALL LIVING DOCUMENTS.

To not be a conservative is an affront to God and it shows a lack of gratitude for what our Founding Fathers sacrificed so much to give us.

YOU ARE SO WRONG—HAVEN’T YOU HEARD OF SEPARATION OF FREEP AND STATE?!?

There is nothing to debate and non-conservatives should not post here (they should however, be allowed to lurk and hopefully they will come to realize the truth).

I knew there was something going on there, but since I’m not terribly well informed about Kerik and (possibly) St. Rudy of York’s mob connections, I hesitate to say anything about it.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes, and I'm still trying to jump around to read all the sore/loserman stuff posted here, but what is the real deal?

I found this from CNN trivially by looking up on google. Sore-Loserman: From political parody to charity's windfall, From december 2004:

When printing company owner John Kanis jokingly came up with his "Sore-Loserman" takeoff on the Gore-Lieberman campaign bumper stickers, he had no idea how well his idea might stick with the voting public.

... "We originally did these for fun," said Kanis of the stickers, which first were handed out free. But when the first supply ran out, the phone began ringing. And the stickers have only become more popular since the still-undecided election was held November 7

It seems clear, unless CNN was lying, that some guy named Kanis invented this, checked with a lawyer, and started printing them all before the november 7 election date.

Is there another story that is at odds with this one? I wasn't here until 2005.

He admitted FR was his substitute for going out to bars and shooting the breeze with people. He apparently thought the same standard of providing backing info (none) should apply here as well.

Well Mom, I certainly can't (and would never) pretend to speak for JimRob, but if you look at Scripture, even Jesus cursed the fig tree for not bearing fruit.

Even my dear sainted mother, God rest her soul, was known to utter a salty word (discreetly under her breath and through gritted teeth of course) when the occasion called for such. But she would always send us to the peach tree out back to select a suitable switch if she caught any of us repeating such language.

I will vote for Rudy should he become the Republican nominee. The alternative is unthinkable. I hope Fred Thompson gets in this race soon though.
