We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
Slackard. Your pennance is to post pictures of Rudy in drag into the next 100 Rudy poll threads on FR.
And Spiff, you gotta post your chart into those threads as well.
Me, I gotta take my shirts to the cleaners. Brown doesn't look good wrinkled.
I'm seeking information so I can make a responsible decision in this next election, which could be the most important one in my life time. I'm trying to educate myself, like a good conservative should, about my options.
I know who Elyse can't stand - He Who Shall Not Be Named - and would like to know who she supports (and obviously Cheney was the wrong answer, Charles, since he's not running).
The facts would be nice, without hyperbole if possible.
You're slow on the trigger Jim - I'm no longer daring you to ban me.
I HAVE SENT YOU MY LETTER OF RESIGNATION.
So do me the favor of showing your recent efficiency in this area BY DELETING MY ACCOUNT.
We’ll see. But I think you know better on both counts. Rudy can get the nomination-—pretty easily, too, if Fred doesn’t run-—and Hunter has less chance than Kinky Friedman.
If you go for your perception of victory over conservative values don’t blame me for the end result.
The Boise area was the ONLY bright spot for Democrats in the entire state. They were CRUSHED everywhere else and in every way.
You're completely misrepresenting reality. What a shock. /s
Tell me - how many would be killed in such an attack? Five thousand?
Now how many childred are aborted every day in the US? About three thousand.
So in the time this thread has been up, the number of abortions is equivalent to the fatalities from a chemical attack on the US.
So much for the pro-life argument falling part in the face of terrorism. There are plenty of GOP candidates who are solid on both issues.
I'm a one-issue voter: Pro-torture. That pretty well sums up a lot of people's feelings. If you don't begin by protecting the lives of the living, there is no pro-life movement. And that's a fact.
No, I think you misjudge the size of the anti-Rudy, conservative lobby, that is just beginning to sink its teeth into his arse. He has little chance. And FWIW, Fred will run.
Loser.
Then why are you still posting?
It's a damn shame irony is lost on liberals like you. Y'all sure generate more than your fair share of it.
Charles, I think you can probably go ahead and add our buddy Al to that special list you’re keeping.
The only way Shrillary gets elected is if Republicans stupidly nominate Rudy, who will not win his home state.
It wouldn’t be one. It would be the first of many that would dwarf anything NARAL ever dreamed of. Time to really get your head out of the sand on this.
Are the unborn not considered the living?
Your arguement does not hold water. Either all life is precious and worthy of protection, or it is not.
Some of us are not “more worthy” of protection than others - unless you are a liberal that is.
OK. Well, she never responded to my question but she has now stated (according to a previous post on this thread) on another forum that he is working for the Rudy campaign in Oklahoma. She made several comments on this forum before leaving that led other posters here to infer that she was working for his campaign. When I asked her if she was working for Rudy’s campaign you said that I had “impuned her integrity”.
