We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
I don't know what exactly prompted this thread, but most of us here on FR -- especially those of us for whom "conservative" is far more critical than "Republican" -- are behind you 100%.
Me too. Off to watch a movie.
Running low? You don't know the meaning of the word. Your juvenile rant sounded like a spoiled kids.
Conservatives cite the DANGERS of a big, all-controlling, all-knowing, authoritarian, 'government knows best' type of liberal government.
JulieAnnie cites the BENEFITS of a big, all-controlling, all-knowing, authoritarian, 'government knows best' type of liberal government.
Uhh, I'm not gonna get shot in the head now, am I?
I probably should have pinged some of the other folks who have already collected a bunch of this. If folks have additional ideas, let me know and I’ll give it one revision then pass it on to the PTB. ;-) I probably have some categories I could contribute to, as well.

study up on your Freeper history, I was NOT making a Nazi reference.
only if you confess an unatural love for rudy
I am observing, and wondering if I will ever be able to invite people to visit this forum again.
What an ass-bite.
We're already over our RINO quota anyway.
And should the GOP nominate Rudy, that chance is totally gone no matter who is elected POTUS.
Yeah, yeah I know Rudy promised to nominate originalist justices; however, I have serious doubts as to whether he even knows what that means and ZERO confidence that he intends to keep his promise if he does.
I believed GHWB far more than I will ever believe Rudy and I remember the result of "Read my lips, no new taxes."
“...I really dislike the term ‘federally funded’. The Feds don’t fund jack. We do.”
One of the best speeches about moral, fiscal conservatism ever made...
Not Yours To Give
Col. David Crockett
US Representative from Tennessee

“...We have the right as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right to appropriate a dollar of the public money....
...We cannot without the grossest corruption, appropriate this money as the payment of a debt. We have not the semblance of authority to appropriate it as charity. Mr. Speaker, I have said we have the right to give as much money of our own as we please. I am the poorest man on this floor. I cannot vote for this bill, but I will give one week’s pay to the object, and if every member of Congress will do the same, it will amount to more than the bill asks.”
->You forgot craven.
I’m trying to restrain myself. I’m new here. Stepping into the middle of an ‘ozone field’ to post is delicate when you are a ‘newbie’, it is conceivable that you might get swept off by an unguided Zot.
But it is fun.
Let’s see, and why was it necessary to call me a RINO? Have I said I supported Guiliani? No. Exactly what prompted that comment?
I'm not defending a thing.
My direct physical experience with illegals has nothing to do with violent gangs. No contact...thank God.
I've seen a carefully orchestrated progression of raw illegal to respectable citizen. Seen it so much it's changed the 'face' of the counties in which I service and live.
Because our area is one of the wealthiest, it works.
The areas that suffer from gang violence have only their own law enforcement to blame.
Maybe we should draft Rudy to go around the country cleaing up illegal crime?
We're still over eight months from a single vote being cast. Your claim is ludicrous.
Experience.
