Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

Peach, M.Thatcher and veronica are die hard RudyBoosters. I'm tired of trying to figure out if they've just sold out conservatism, or they're actually gone liberal. And at this point, I don't give a rats arse either. Peach has been banned and I hope the other two follow her. I hope JimRob makes these bannings permanent too.

RM, I've seen some disgusting posts from you in the past, but this one comes close to making you one of the lowest of bottom feeders. You should be the last to criticize these conservatives. Your posts are usually filled with hate and vitriol for anyone who doesn't share you extremist views of the world. Peach has been one of the great researchers here and a tremendous supporter of our troops and the war on terror. MiaT has offered much in the way she puts a professional touch to this forum. Both make you look like the pathetic whiner you are.

Jim, I see the purge continues. Well, you may as well put me in that group because of my disgust for what is going on here. You set up Free Republic as a forum for conservative thought and debate. I began to see the change when you permitted the infamous "treasonous liberal" thread to remain without a comment. I told you then that if you didn't return some civility to this forum it would get worse. And now, unfortunately, it has. I've lost track of how many you have banned in the last couple of days, but banning MiaT and Peach for their support of Giuliani is simply pathetic.

Oh yes, I've seen their little indiscretions referred to by several of your cheerleaders here, but they pale to the kind of rhetoric used by those who have the absolute audacity to call themselves "conservative", but who, just like RM here, swim in the sea of extremism.

Your statement to a conservative poster who has contributed here for years still rings: "Up yours, ***wipe". Is this the God-fearing Christian conservative standards you set up for this forum?

Most of those posters you banned had just as strong a moral value system as you and those dittoheads who run around here professing their conservatism ever had.

You may want to re-read this pathetic thread and ask yourself if this is what you intended when you started it. If you are the same Jim Robinson who started this forum and fought so valiantly for Clinton Administration accountability, then I believe the answer must be no.

These threads no longer add anything to the debate, but merely provide for a verbal shooting gallery. People who support your position can say anything with impunity any more, regardless of the truth or civility. More and more profanity from your cheerleaders is excused as "heat of battle", while those who support a candidate you don't must walk on eggs.

Well, as I've been told so often, it's your forum. You set the rules. But my last recommendation to you before my zot is to remember who looks at this forum and uses it to bash the Republican Party. Because you are losing a tremendous amount of intellectual prowess, both by banning and by self imposed exile, you are eliminating the balance that made it the website to wake up to.

Now, it will continue withdrawing into itself as more and more weighted in favor of extremism of every category. But you will not lose readers, as more and more from the left will use it for what it will be offering. They must convince the electorate that the Republican Party is controlled by the far right, and you now offer them that.

My parting thought to everyone else here who might read this is that no matter who is elected next year, there will be at least 2 USSC justice resignations, and we are 1 away from a conservative majority.

Take care, all.

I disagree. He is here, just not posting — and certainly not happy with people promoting abortion and partial birth abortion.

“I certainly don’t agree with a fair collection of Peach’s comments, but your dancing on her grave is not only incredibly immature, your post degrades the value of this forum.”

It’s called humor. Don’t take things so seriously—life’s too short! ;^)

BTW, don’t be surprised in Jim raises her from the dead in a few days. I suspect she’ll be back just because she’s been here so long. Jim was very patient with Peach, far more than he needed to be.

"I don't understand why we won't let the primary process play out like it has for a couple hundred years."

If we can't fight against socialism's galloping intrusion into the conservative Republican party during the primaries, when can we? If we don't knock this liberal out now and he becomes the Republican nominee, then we're REALLY going to be in for a fight. There is no way on God's green earth that we are going to elect an abortionist. socialist to the White House from the Republican party. That would be complete and total surrender to the culture of Marxism. GOP RIP!

To the best of my knowledge, Forbes is NOT an abortionist, feminist, homosexualist, illegal alien loving, gun grabbing liberal. Giuliani is. Those who continue trying to push this socialist butcher off onto the rest of us are going to feel a whole LOT of pushing back. This I promise.

And those who can't bear the truth about Giuliani and can't understand why conservatives outright reject such a repulsive liberal, should get out of the kitchen now, because we've barely begun to fight.
I'm making it my own personal goal to knock Giuliani out of the primaries, simply by revealing the stark ugly truth about him. Mostly with words out of his own filthy mouth.

Stay. You’ve been here a long time and know things get a little rowdy now and then.
I would be sorry to see you go.
We need to be civil, I agree with that!

“He says a woman has a constitutional right to abortion and therefore the federal government should fund abortions for poor women. Not only is that the most evil thing that any one could suggest, but it definitely IS socialist! The man is a socialist butcher plain and simple and bears nothing but utter contempt for the constitution and individual rights.”

Jim, He also says that illegals have a Constitutional RIGHT to WELFARE! If not socialist what would it be?

I have ask that question of the Rooty Rooters several times with nary a reply.

“I believe the anti-immigration movement in America is one of our most serious public problems. And Washington is only making the problem worse.

“In New York City, we recognize this reality. New York City’s policy toward undocumented immigrants is called “Executive Order 124.”

“Executive Order 124” protects undocumented immigrants in New York City from being reported to the I.N.S. While they are using City services that are critical for their health and safety, and for the health and safety of the entire city

“And yet Section 434 of the new welfare reform law, and Section 642 of the new immigration law, would effectively invalidate New York City’s “Executive Order 124.”

( Here is the money quote..)

“The federal government’s effort to overturn “Executive Order 124” is not only bad policy, it is a violation of the U.S. Constitution. It is my opinion that the new law is unfair because discriminates based on immigration status.

So we start importing LEGAL immigrants from non-socialist countries who stick with the U.S.

Poland is a good place to start.

And God is only with you? Politics isn’t about God. Not directly. He does as He wishes in the lives of each of us. Voting and caring about our neighbors and our country is our job, not His.

I rarely if ever mention my personal faith or ministry here. It is not the time nor place. Neither do I say that God only believes in my way of doing things. He’s a whole lot smarter than I am.

I never judge or reference a person’s faith based on their opinions or agreements with me. I insult liberals, Rino’s Rudybots, and Bushbots, but that’s it. A man or woman’s faith is their own.

So stop your sanctimony. God is everywhere, even here.

Jim is cracking down on false claims made by rudy supporters against conservative candidates.

I wouldn't mind them so much cause they are fun to fight with, but we should atleast be allowed to give it back as hard. And for the most part I have done that without being as much as warned.

Still don't believe Fierce Allegience did anything that bad, especially since it was to those much worse than he was.

Liars usually get found out, so I don't even care if they lie. It reveals who they really are.

The RudyBoosters can't whine about you not giving them fair warning. In the long run, you'll have the vast majority of FReepers standing with you too. Conseratives united WILL always defeat liberalism. Job #1 right now is to make sure Rudy is exposed for the liberal he is. He must never become the GOP nominee.
