We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
Secularism does not equal atheism, nor does it automatically mean anti-religion. Nor was Communism strictly atheist as it promoted worship of the state. Secular laws do not have to get in the way of religious freedom; indeed, in this country the whole point is that secular laws guarantee religious freedom for all who are willing to abide by the basics. In theory we are all held to the same standard.
Sure, I will shut up. I know when I am licked.
The Minutemen are heroes, and I washed my hands of Bush when he called them “vigilantes”. That was the turning point for me. He’s done!
Thompson/Hunter in 08!!
EV also failed to mention that he's a lobbyist for the state of Idaho, working to abolish state taxes, in addition to his work for Alan Keyes.
It's rather disingenuous for him to pass himself off as just a regular citizen when instead he's paid to be here, as well as on other sites, I'm sure.
And now he's become one of the arbiters of who is conservative ENOUGH to be here?
That's just precious.
The problem as I see it is that supporting Rudy does not make one pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, pro-gun control any more than supporting the President makes one pro-CFR, pro-illegal immigration and pro-Medicare drugs plan.
>>Oh, don’t be scared. Just answer the question: are the Minutemen vigilantes, or not?
I know that you don’t have the harpies to come to your rescue, but just tell us what you think.<<
Is there some chance you’ve gotten Mo confused with someone else? I saw you called her a troll.
I think of Mo1 as one of the people who works the hardest for Freep - she starts and rallies Freepathon threads and helps new people get their feet wet - I don’t understand that label.
It sounds like you’ve got a disagreement about the minute men and their “vigilante status.” For the record the term I’d use is “neighborhood watch group helping law enforcement in a tough neighborhood.” Not as a catchy as “vigleantes” but more accurate.
I don’t who is on which side of the MM debate but that hopefully isn’t enough to define either of you badly.
Oh yes I have .. on other threads and you are beating a dead horse
I’m not paid to be here, you idiot.
Now that you’ve shown your true colors by doing op research on fellow FReepers, how’s about you tell us all about your personal life, troll?
Thanks. I have been a Duncan Hunter supporter since last year(I have met Duncan and his wife and son in San Diego)
It is now outwardly apparent that Duncan will not get out of the gate, as the MSM has effectively frozen him out.
I now support a Thompson/Hunter ticket, as I believe they are philosophically compatable, and both are honorable men.
THAT is REALLY nice!!!!!!!!!!!
She thinks that the Minutemen are vigilantes.
Of course it does.
When government gets involved in issues such as abortion...
Sorry, I still don't get it. Really.
Being pro-family would mean less government because there would not be the need for welfare, Medicare, social services, so much police required, or prisons. The vast majority of social problems we face are a result of broken families. That results in the *need* (allegedly) for more government interference to *fix* the problems. But it doesn't work. Encouraginig the destruction of the family results in the need for something to replace it and government is what will move in to fill the vaccum.
Abortion should be outlawed like it once was.
“yet you want the government banning medical procedures..... Isnt that Big government???”
#15506
You consider abortion a medical procedure????
I don’t get it. What does this post mean?
You #15327Btw, WA was started March 5. This thread, which is only about a week old, was not the cause of WA.
Me #15377:I looked at the mission statement of WA. Nowhere do I see that it's a anti-Freeper site. Why do you say that it is?
Me #15380:If WA was started before this thread, then why would you call it an anti-Freeper site?
You #15389:Because its an anti-freeper site, not an anti-this-thread site. There were other anti-freeper sites before this thread too. LOL
For the record. You refuse to answer one of the two questions that I asked you. Instead you lie and you call names and you *LOL* invoke the name of Howlin.
The question unanswered by you: I looked at the mission statement of WA. Nowhere do I see that it's a anti-Freeper site?
Personal life... Personal Life ...Where have I heard that before? oh yea ...Bill Clinton had a personal life
