if your pro-homosexual marriage, pro-abortion, pro-gun control, etc., yeah you are going to get banned. Those are not conservative views.The problem as I see it is that supporting Rudy does not make one pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, pro-gun control any more than supporting the President makes one pro-CFR, pro-illegal immigration and pro-Medicare drugs plan.

It does make you pro abortion/pro gay rights to support him, or at least means that you do not care enough about these issues to have them affect your vote. Either one is not a conservative stance.

The analogy is not intellectually sound;
If you support Rudy, based on your own post, you are an liberal, or a whore, or just plain obtuse. Speaking of obtuse, Mr. Bush wins the award for that, with his profligate spending, and slobbering endorsement of illegal aliens.

The problem as I see it is that supporting Rudy does not make one pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, pro-gun control any more than supporting the President makes one pro-CFR, pro-illegal immigration and pro-Medicare drugs plan. If you support him, knowing his positions on those issues, then you are supporting those issues. Those are major issues. I simply can't fathom why someone who holds the opposing positions on those issues would support him.

Are you familiar with the term ‘accessory before the fact,’ Rex?
