We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
Kevmo will help you : )
No kidding!
Just “drat” !!
Preach it, sister.
I’m pretty exhausted tonite and went to another forum for a while (they hate Howlin over there too it seems), but did something change dramatically in the last hour on the this thread?
It seems like a large posse of hostile people showed up.
I gave you his words on the subject. I doubt anything I could say would change your mind.
But, I will point out that Walter Williams made similar academic comments:
“There’s one condition where I might fall prey to the reparations temptation. The federal government owns up to 90 percent of the land in western states such as Alaska, Nevada, New Mexico and California. Turning that land over to blacks, and hence into private hands, might not be a bad idea.” Walter E. Williams, June 26, 2000
“Its the light.....
Do I smell ozone again?”
There’s always a light burning somewhere...and there is always someone willing to find it. Their slowing down but some are still flirting.
You sure are snoopy. How would you like it if I asked personal questions of you?
“Your positive conservative contributions to this forum are more than words can describe, save one—hypocrite”
Hold me...just because you’re here for me.
See ya at the U T : )
Yes, his words from before the election. As Ms. Malkin so adequately pointed out, Keyes did a 180 turn while running for office and suddenly supported slave reparations.
So are you saying that now that he's not trying to buy votes he doesn't support slave reparations any longer?
I dunno. I stopped to eat and sleep, had a bridal shower and bible study to attend, come back and find myself buried under about 1,000 posts. I’ve been trying to play catch up but it ain’t going so well. I’m still about 700, down and it’s bedtime again.
I figured there were more coming out of the woodwork.
Fourteen thousand something posts and I am just gettin here. Guess that is what happens when ya got a job. Someone care to summarize?
That’s for sure.
Too lazy to check the dates? It was during the campaign, on September 9, 2004.
“seems like a large posse of hostile people showed up.
It’s saturday nite and they just got paid
Poured themselves a drink cause they didn’t get laid.
or something like that.
That’s what I always thought. Keeps it concise.
Why are you so defensive of Keyes sudden conversion?
