Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?

The last option sounds like the best choice. Just look at the current FR poll. However, I'm just not convinced Rudy is going to win the GOP nomination. If you were a conservative, you'd be working to make sure Rudy the liberal is destroyed and defeated. If you think Giuliani represents conservatism or even Republicanism, you're seriously mistaken. Delusional. Go for traditional American, support a conservative."IF" I were a conservative? You might want to read my tagline. As for that "last option" being the "third party" vote. Surely you are informed enough to know that third party votes might as well be tossed in the trash before they're even counted. I would think that even the slowest learners learned that in the last election. ;)

In opposition to the cheerleaders that reply to your list with glee cowgirl, I am very troubled by this. There is far more to FR than opinions of Republican presidential candidates. Personally, JulieAnnie makes me sick, but then again, I have problems with NY'rs in general.
Banning good people like Peach, Mia T, Pukin Dog, etc. bothers me very much. I have truly enjoyed their contributions on many subjects, and frankly ignored the JulieAnnie stuff as tiresome for the time being until the process becomes more than a dog show.
Don't post a lot Jim, still not one of the "pillars of FR, but I think Pukin Dog had it right when he questioned why you were "biting the hand" so to speak. I thought it was the 'rats that were so intolerant of differing viewpoints. Hopefully you will reconsider your actions.

That was rude and uncalled for. Why so grumpy, stranger? You didn't get the joke?

That’s why we have to work hard not to have to cross that bridge!
It’s important not to have to face that choice.

Pukin Dog opused out (again).
Thanks

Yeah, I saw that remark the other night. It stunned me.
To: EternalVigilance
Probably so. But internal division is very destructive. I hate seeing the party and this site torn apart.

A lot of us won't though. We will only vote for a conservative. This is a conservative site. I refused to vote for Bob Dole with his grifter cow wife when he ran. I am here because it is not a republican site per se.Like I've said before....I want a conservative Republican presidential candidate. That's what I'm shootin' for. Yes, many people would rather allow Hillary or another Democrat to become president rather than do what needs to be done to see that doesn't happen even if there is a candidate that would be at least BETTER than Hillary and/or other Democrat. As for me, I'll do whatever it takes when it comes to that.

The insulting and cursing went both ways, I'm afraid. I agree that both sides were, at times, over the top. Myself included.
I stopped posting for a while because of how I was bevaving. What I was saying was out of character for me, and I wasn't very proud of that.
And what it came down to is, I know I'm right about Rudy, but if I can't make my point without getting ugly, I'm doing something wrong.
Rudy is wrong for America, IMHO. So I'm staying here (if JimRob permits) and trying to convert all comers to the Duncan Hunter camp!

All election cycles are different from one another. 2008 could be unique in American political history.
IF Rudy should somehow become the nominee I guarantee you, a significant amount of conservatives will not vote for him. That will cost him the election. But this is all hypothetical so early in the process. I've never voted third party. Until 1952, Democrat Ronald Reagan had never voted for a Republican either.
>>>>>You might want to read my tagline.
Yeah, so whats with the question mark? I like Fred too, but I'd never vote for Rudy. You would. Big difference.
Now read my tagline.

I agree. We do have to work very hard so that we won’t be forced into that corner. I don’t want to have to make that choice either. But I feel soooooooooooo strongly about what the Democrats/liberals are doing to our country that I will stand up and fight even if it is with only a shovel (Rudy = shovel). ;)
