We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
Sorry wrong post number. And I’m not HTML savvy enough to link.
It’s late. Time for bed. Not much more I can say here, so I don’t now if I will be here tomorrow. Time to catch up on life for now.
You called that one day my friend. Apparently he’s been tangling with 3-4 of us.
I would sincerely appreciate a reply from Sonic109, but have been unsuccessful thus far in my repeated (3) attempts for an answer to my basic question of whether protecting the life of an unborn baby was more important than the WOT.
He found time to answer another’s post and thread hop a while, but now appears to be hiding in a hollow stump.
Well I know Luis Gonzalez can be a bit...forthright, strongly opinionated, combative. So I wasn’t surprised to see his name, it’s not the 1st time for him.
The thing is some people invest a lot of emotion either for or against a candidate. Now emotion is a good thing, but you’ve got to keep it on a short leash.
LMBO!
BykrBayb,I have a question, what did you mean that someone was using the freepaton thread to encourage members to a new site and who was it.I missed 700 posts and also helped with our fund raiser.
Either way, you’re dead on the mark. It is fear, nay, terror that has gripped the hearts of many Rudi Krishnas. Huddling in their little cult thinking that Only St Rudy or York can save them from the evil one.
Bah! Nothing could be further from the truth.
If as I fear, St. Rudi does manage to get the nomination and succeeds in splitting the party AS I BELIEVE IS HIS INTENT, The Rudi Krishnas will get exactly what they are so terrified of. Her Heinous in the White House and they will be the birds to thank.
Yes, I’m gathering that. I like your tagline!
“Well I know Luis Gonzalez can be a bit...forthright, strongly opinionated, combative.”
Nah, he was just a liar.
"We love peace, but not peace at any price. There is a peace more destructive of the manhood of living man, than war is destructive of his body. Chains are worse than bayonets." - Douglas William Jerrold
That isn’t quite what I meant.
Howlin started an anti-freeper chat group at yahoo some time back. A few of her freeper buddies joined her there. One of the things they did was talk trash about the freepathon and freepers who were actively promoting the freepathon. When their messages became public, they rushed over to the the freepathon threads and started hanging out there, sucking up to the loyal freepers who kept those threads going. By the time those freepers heard about the anti-freeper group, they refused to believe their “good friends” would do such a thing, and wouldn’t even look at the evidence.
Reverend Bob (freeper) and I were trying to think of the last time a sitting member of the House was elected President. Garfield?
True Dat...
Thanks for compiling that list, ccg.

Careful now, yer settin’ yerself up for the accusation that you could be a “Dam Christmas Banning Lib” by coming between Free Republic and a donation... ;-)
We should have several rounds of recount, a huge brouhaha over dimpled chads, and have the Supreme Court of Free Republic (the mods?) weigh in, with the controversy never ‘really’ being resolved.
One wonders how long the banned were harboring their “sentiments,” especially their bile towards Jim. That’s the saddest part of it. After all their years of enjoying the many benefits of the forum, they spit on their benefactor. That is why it’s hard for me to see many, if any, returning.
‘course, there’s the real possibility they reappear under AKAs, but will probably code their chat as a giveaway.
I believe Hydrocanidofemophobia or the fear of “a crazy b*tch” fits too.
Apologies to any who may be offended by that last. =-)
“It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen.”
See, that cracks me up every time. Sorry. Just had say that again.
