We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
Thank you thank you. So much easier on the eyes.
Snidely, you can be assured I know exactly what my thoughts and beliefs are and have no problem expressing them. Any resemblence between them and your obscene caricatures is strictly random. Anyone can see from my extensive posting that I am a 100% patriotic American and supports its Constitution totally.
What would be gutless is to surrender to little thugs like you and confess to Thought Crimes which never existed.
Oh Wow! There are some good folks on that list.

I’m on the xplanets pinglist. That’s pretty cool.
I’ve seen a lot come back through even a second time. I’m not sure how that’s working, but in several instances it was let known that people could indeed ask for the accounts to be re-instated. I’ve read that here on the thread somewhere.
"Most of [President] Clinton's policies are very similar to most of mine."
--Rudolph Giuliani, New York Post, Jun 8, 1999 (restating RWG quote from 1996 )
"I don't think tonight's result is tragic, I guess because I'm not that partisan a person ... I think President Clinton is a good man, he's a very decent man, and the country has run pretty well."
--Rudolph Giuliani, commenting on Bob Dole's loss in the 1996 presidential election. New York Times, Nov 7, 1996
Is this person serious? Tell me no?
LOL,,,the night is young...;0)
Fortunately, there is some freeper history/lore to cover this dispute. It is called a dam tie. So, there’s no reason why Free Republic shouldn’t get that donation. I will be updating the keyword with “Dam Ties”.

” But I dont think this started with the conservative wing of this conservative site. For months now, literally, many of these Giuliani supporters have embraced this we are the Borg attitude, convinced that without Rudy, the Hildabeast was assured her coronation in Jan 2009. “
A lot of those people have left simply because Rudy was their man, not that they were trying to promote the best chance of defeating Hillary, but because they are true Rudy supporters.
The old-timers can tell me if this is true, but could it be that a lot of the anger involved in their leaving is directed at social conservatism and that Rudy would be some of theirs choice, even if a (more) religious copy of Reagan himself were running?
Oh shut up.
Whoops. Wrong poster. Carry on.
And this chair is killing my back.
You listed all of the things that have been making us angry for at least 15 years. And, raising our blood pressure dangerously.
Nope. Not, gonna go with no faux-repub

It’s leaves a stick gooey mess all over the dash board.

New York City Mayor-elect Rudolph W. Giuliani said he advocated a "uniform licensing system with real teeth in it," including background checks, lessons, tests and required renewals every two years to "show you're stable, you're healthy, you're able to handle a gun."Chicago Tribune, Dec 9, 1993"Anything we can do . . . that will reduce the number of weapons in the country will help cities in particular and help police officers" said Giuliani, a former U.S. attorney. Handguns should be in the hands of police officers.
With crime rising as a major political issue, President Clinton said Wednesday that he is considering tough new gun-control measures that would have been rejected in less violent times.St. Louis Post, Dec 9, 1993He said he is looking into a plan advanced by New York Mayor-elect Rudolph Giuliani to license gun owners and register their weapons in the same way that states license drivers and cars.
And, he said, Atty. Gen. Janet Reno is being asked to make recommendations on a national licensing plan for gun dealers that would function like federal clean-air regulations, "where the state and local regulations are on top of the federal regulations and all have to be complied with."
Like car drivers, gun buyers would need to pass a proficiency test under a uniform licensing proposal President Bill Clinton is considering. The Oregonian, Dec 10, 1993White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers said Wednesday that Clinton would ask Attorney General Janet Reno to study the idea. She said Clinton was intrigued with a suggestion by New York Mayor-elect Rudolph W. Giuliani that either the federal government or the states set up strict licensing and training programs for gun buyers.
Giuliani, a Republican who met with Clinton at the White House on Tuesday, has described his plan as "a uniform licensing system with real teeth in it, and a period where you'd have to demonstrate your capability of using a gun, and then every two years you'd have to go back and once again show that you're stable, you're healthy, you're able to handle a gun and you know what to do with it."
The administration is talking about "licensing" guns, rather than "registering" them ... But in fact, the licensing procedures under consideration would be more limiting than simple registration, since they would require prospective owners to demonstrate that they can use their guns safely, as well as to provide information on them personally.
They are going to leave a stench in our fair city....ICK! I wouldn't have thought the dims would want to be that close (The) Reagan!!!
