It is amazing to me that our Universities recruit foreign students. The foreign countries hate us but they will take from us and our schools will fill their pockets any way they can. We are moving to no borders and no immigration laws period. We get what we deserve by saying it’s o.k. because the global economy is a good thing and that is what capitalism is about. I am not sure I agree with that anymore.
The first picture of an Asian student was reporter for the local paper that got to nosy. The picture of people being carried by police on all fours was actually one of the injured.
Additionally, check other insurance because shootings may be covered by homeowner's policies in case anyone wants to know. While not at home too. Applicable for medical, rehab and other expenses. The victims who live will need lots of care.
That is because they pay three to four times as much as instate students.

Who just saw the guy in the green shirt on Gibson re: coming towards the building, shots, two guys ran out (one wounded), whisked into SUVs? (I know how it sounds)
He was just on with another kid describing the gunman coming into room shooting, one student feigning death.

Yup, it was a good thing they took over the Vince Foster case so that now the country knows exactly what happened there!
The woman who said she was FBI was not acting in any official capacity, and that is what I found wrong about it.
I think it's very important that we find out what happened as well, but I think it's pretty earlier for people to look in 20-20 hindsight about how easy it is to lock down a college campus at 8:00 AM.
That likely is not the shooter. However, the shooter was no doubt seen by dozens of witnesses prior to blowing his own head off, if that is what occurred. With no ID yet leaked or reported, that would seem to suggest the shooter was not connected to this campus, or known by those on the campus.

They pay the 24/7 news experts to make dramatic claims.
Spent much time on college campuses? There are hundreds of people walking to and from the parking lots all day long.
As far as the authorities knew it was a murder in the dorms. How could they possibly guess an attack on the University? Even if they could, how to lock down 2000 acres of campus with a small security force?? Blaming the police or admin is not the answer.

The post I was replying to was the first time I had heard anything about a vest. This could be a case of runaway speculation and gossip.
The report was based on a police report heard here, describing the shooter as wearing *a black vest with ammunition clips* which could also have been the black leather jacket reported by some witnesses. A CBS report also described a possible vest, as follows:
The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives believe the gunman, described as a young Asian male, used two handguns in the shootings before taking his own life, sources tell CBS News. One official added that the gunman was "heavily armed and wearing a vest."
Alternately, one of the early responding cops to the first 07:15 shooting at West Ambler Johnston residence hall where the first two victims were killed may have been wearing a bulletproof *raid vest* or tactical vest and was then mistaken for the shooter.
Too soon to tell.
