As far as the authorities knew it was a murder in the dorms. How could they possibly guess an attack on the University? Even if they could, how to lock down 2000 acres of campus with a small security force?? Blaming the police or admin is not the answer.

I agree and do we really want the military to guard the campuses or what? Accidents and incidents out of most anyone’s control happens. I don’t understand this blame game that continually goes on seconds after an incident. I would bet lawyers are already being employed. Our country is no longer safe — anywhere — when are the people going to recognize that and expect something from our politicians rather than the courts.
