Here are the few pictures I took from the GOE today. Thanks to all the FReepers I met y'all are a good bunch! There were so many folks there to give the antiwar bolshevicks hell it was heartwarming. I did not get a lot of pics cause my hands were full with one of Buford P.s placards. THe thing was like a wind sail.
One of the very first things I learned in the military was to pick my trash (or rather never to throw it down in the first place). Yeah, Momma taught me that too, but she never drove the point home by making me police acres and acres for hours picking up everything from cigarette butts to stray lint.
When Hillary was hawking her book, she came to CA and we protested the bookstore where she was signing books. We walked around the bookstore when we first got there, and I was in total shock at the amount of garbage all over the place. The store had put out huge garbage cans, but when they became full the mob just threw their garbage toward the can. It was disgusting.
But .. we didn't stay and clean up the bookstore's mess. They invited her and her friends left a big mess .. maybe the bookstore will think twice about inviting her back.
And .. if people remember back to the Reagan memorial - when he was lying in state - THERE WAS VERY LITTLE GARBAGE ANYWHERE AROUND THE CAPITOL. I remember the media commenting on it - because the left ALWAYS LEAVES A HUGE MESS.
Thanks for the report & pics!
Sorry I could not make it...something I ate last night had me sick as a dog all morning. By the time I felt better, it was 6PM. I am POd I didn't make this.
The left IS a mess.
great job, thank you
Great job!! It was indeed a great day! Thanks to every Freeper that showed up. It was COLD and WINDY, yet we stood down the moonbats!!!!
Hey, im sorry i couldnt make it (i dont drive yet), but im so glad you guys stood up to those anti-american enemies. im proud of you all
The sight of so many Veterans on the National Mall doing their duty to protect this great Nation, AGAIN, was breathtaking.
What do expect from a collective that refuses to bathe?
Indeed. I thought it particularly ironic that our area was spotless after the event, and the oh-so-environmentally-holier-than-thou moonbat's area looked like a trash dump.
Awesome pictures.
WTG.
God bless all those who attended in support of our Troops.
LOL
NICE JOB...!!!

I would say there were 8-10,000 patriots all over. The gathering at the tent area, around the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial. These included Rolling Thunder, Free Republic, Protest Warriors and those who knew about the Gathering of Eagles.
After the moonbat march began across the bridge toward Arlington, they wouldn't let GoE people "mix in". Some were able to come over toward the end of the parade, but they stayed on the sidewalk toward the outside of the anti-war marchers. Those of us who went over to the circle (including SouthernboyupNorth) went over around 11am. Their march didn't start until 12:30pm. We wanted to set up our MOAB (mother of all banners) well in advance of their arrival, and there were about 50-60 of us who went early.
Let's just say the message on the banner made them very angry. They got close enough for a handshake if we'd wanted to, but then the motorcycle cops cleared them away from our curb, and the mounted police pushed them back even further. We were reduced to just shouting and taking pictures of eachother.
Great Pictures. Thanks to all.
Compare the way the Liberal Losers drops their trash anywhere compared to the Conservatives who understand the meaning of stewardship.
After Dan's Bake Sale in Fort Collin, Co., it was noted that the city didn't have to send crews out to clean up the streets since there was no garbage needing cleaning up afterwards. IIRC, the only thing that was broken was a planter, and that was done accidently by an LEO's horse.
So, Algore and Company, just who walks the Walk?
