Some people just don't get that voting for a RINO in order to prevent the DEM from winning is very short term thinking.

How would that be different with a RINO president?
To: Trueblackman
Every time I hold my nose and vote for the RINO, I, America, and the rest of the conservatives get stabbed in the back.
With this current crop I am about at the end of my patience.
Sorry but that's how I feel. I'm beyond frustrated.

I understand your point, but you must understand that Rudy will appoint the same kind of judges as Hillary so it's a false argument. You also have to understand that Rudy is just like Bill Clinton in the morals department. He has tons of skeletons in his closet.
Many of us have decided to not throw our principals over the side simply because our liberal dem is better than their liberal dem.
Besides, 1) The Dems WILL eventually retake the WH someday. 2) Carter gave us Reagan and Clinton gave us Bush (okay...no Reagan, but much better than Gore!).
I am personally hoping Fred Thompson will run.

I wasn't aware that Romney was being shoved down our throats. It seems the biggest push is for Rudy.

I think Romney was right on, as to his remarks to the Schiavo case. Congress should in no way interfere with the courts. They should do some law making outside a case, perhaps. This could start a terrible precedent.

YOURS is a false argument.
Rudy said and Ted Olson confirmed that Rudy will appoint constructionist judges like Scalia and Alito. That's why Ted Olson is supporting Rudy.

Ever since W's first election in 2000 and with Republicans in control of both houses, I was waiting with bated breath for them to start cleaning up the Clinton mess.
Instead, they just let them get by with it.
Disgusting.
Exactly. Exactly right. A historic opportunity, laid to waste by OUR[sic] people.
Unconscionable.

Boo Whoooo I not getting my way so far.Instead of crying about it, convince the RNC to put up candidates worth voting for. Somehow the RNC has gotta learn that my vote is precious and they need to earn my vote.

If a conservative doesn't win the nomination, we ALL lose.
But as Rodneyking says in #55 it would be better to lose for 4 years than the next 20, or more.
Rudy winning this election would set conservatism back so far we might never recover politically. But the Rinos would lose too. I would not vote for Rudy, but I will vote.

Boo Whoooo I not getting my way so far. So I 'll show you and not vote so Hillary can get elected and then she will shut down talk radio and all conservative Internet site and that will some how make your point . The logic hear is mystifying . I suspect many DU pests are feeding the fire of this type of thinking on the FR You'll think Boo Whooo. In case you didn't notice it was the stupid Follow My Leader Blindly Republican Congressmen and Senators who have expanded Executive Branch Powers and started programs everybody would have called for the DEMs to be impeached over. But Duhh Dats OK Duh it's the Republican party doing it Duh ain't that right Rush? Duh!
Hillary Clinton even if elected in 2008 wasn't half the threat in 2000 she will be if elected thanks to those blithering idiots people elected just because they were Republicans and never them being being stupid liberal ones at that. Now that's something to cry about. Sold out by the Liberal Traitors within the GOP elected. Please excuse me while I refuse to elect or re-elect more of the same.
