Yeah, I have looked a few up on the Internet and found many sources of each of these statements. Please post the sources so that we can flesh out the transcript. I'm looking right now, but if you've already done the work that would help greatly.

I don't buy it that Rudy is the guy for WOT. There are several issues linked to WOT. Gun ownership -- for self defense in case the terrorists get past the main line and a redneck needs to protect himself. Immigration -- to keep the terrorists out. Knowing the military & how they operate, what they can do -- Duncan takes that one hands down vs. Giuliani. Duncan's record shows unwavering support for the right course of action.

You're right, I should be pleased. I am pleased. The truth has been brought out for all to see?
How would YOU have it... just more BS lies and broken promises?
GAWD... get over it!
Move on, let's concentrate our efforts on the BEST candidate...not a guy who "wants to be a Democrat".
DDDEEEENNNIIIIAAAAALLLLLL isn't gonna get a conservative elected.

...we are all screwed the way things look now.Have a little faith.
We're better off with Rudy being exposed now than if he was the candidate in the general election.

Easy to do, Rudy, for those who are honest, although that seems to be almost always an oxymoron for Democrats. You've tried about as hard and long to figure out how to run Democrat--as Bill Clinton tried for two weeks in 1993 to figure out how to cut taxes like HE promised.

Actually what I did was just google phrases like "mcCain Fiengold" and Rudy and came up with lots of hits from all sorts of sources.
It doesn't pinpoint these exact clips but proves the statements on these clips are not isolated events. He has said all of these things many times.

Here's the bottom line:
Rudy Giuliani is NOT ELECTABLE and IS NOT VIABLE.
At least as a Republican...

why don't you be true to your heart...start an on line petition to have Rudy jump party to the Democrats... then you and all your friends can vote for him with a clear conscious.

Why are you not in despair over the current prospects of a conservative being the next president?
Are you new to politics or just Free Republic?
Why are you trying to create a sense of panic here?

I'll probably start living up to my handle and support Romney. But I like to think I've got a pretty good instinct for elections and how they will turn out, and I can't look upon a Hillary-Romney contest with anything but foreboding as far as the end result. The way it looks now, it looks like Hillary picked the best time in history to run against the Republican party. Have we EVER had such a weak slate of candidates? This is really depressing to me.

Duncan Hunter is the best candidate, no question. Like I said, the million dollar question is...can he go all the way? Should he win the nomination, can he take on Hildabeast/Obamasama and their overhyped star power?
You raise a good point about Rudy. What sort of military experience does he have? How do we know he'd be a good leader in the WOT? He has no experience in foreign policy matters, either. And if we can't trust him to enforce our own borders, how can we trust him to take on the Islamofascists?

I've talked to a few Rudy supporters before and I have yet to hear a single one of them give a real answer to his liberal stances on important issues. Oh, but they do give answers to Giuliani's liberal stances. They call you an unappeasable if you take issue with his liberalism. They belittle Christian conservatives and those damned, lousy right wingnut redneck "SOCONS". They call you an "one issue" voter. They say that those particular liberal positions don't matter and that the President really doesn't have anything to do with such things. They lie. They deceive. They spin. But most of all, they display severe denial that Giuliani is really a radical liberal. The refuse to see it thought it is as plain as day. They even try to pretend that he's a conservative. That's how they answer such things.

"Why are you trying to create a sense of panic here?"
I'm not trying to create panic, I'm trying to point out that it's not enough to say "no to Rudy." We have to say "yes" to someone. And the big choices on this board appear to be Duncan Hunter and Newt Gingrich. Duncan Hunter is around 1% in the polls, and a recent Foxnews poll showed that 62% of respondents said they would NEVER vote for Gingrich. Highest response of any candidate.
So I react with some despair when I see "reject Rudy and go with Duncan Hunter." Because no serious political commentator thinks Hunter has a chance.

It ain't over until it's over.
Somewhere... somehow... we need to get NEWT back to SOME position where he can be "the mouthpiece" for the Republican party. He can out-debate ANYONE the Dummies can toss out at us! Someone needs to put him front and center for the "voice" of our party. If he were to "coach" our guy... whom ever that may be... we'd stand a damned good chance of getting in the WH.
Some say Newt is old news...dirty laundry...etc... but he is a talented orator / speech writer / coach... We need to team him up with a few of the conservative hopefuls...
Duncan, Romney... whomever...
