It ain't over until it's over.
Somewhere... somehow... we need to get NEWT back to SOME position where he can be "the mouthpiece" for the Republican party. He can out-debate ANYONE the Dummies can toss out at us! Someone needs to put him front and center for the "voice" of our party. If he were to "coach" our guy... whom ever that may be... we'd stand a damned good chance of getting in the WH.
Some say Newt is old news...dirty laundry...etc... but he is a talented orator / speech writer / coach... We need to team him up with a few of the conservative hopefuls...
Duncan, Romney... whomever...

Maybe that is Rudy's role in all of this.
He is charismatic and well liked and has similar personal baggage to Newt.
So Rudy gets accepted "warts and all" until his overwhelming liberalism turns them off then NEWT steps into the race.
Lookie here, he is just like Rudy but CONSERVATIVE.
